It's funny how they said that they said that being a 'monster kid' isn't rare these days when from what I've experienced is that it is! I'm the only guy I know from all my friends and other people i know that likes classic monster movies! Everyone says "Classic monsters sucks, its not scary!" or "black and white horror fails, the effects are rubbish!" I even get called goth (i am a BIT) and all this stuff for like monsters! I wish i knew people who liked em as much as i do! D:

I agree and here something I'll give to horror people think friday the 13th and nightmare on elm street are they real horrors no I don't think so the biggest problem they are really dull so I rather watch the blob than nightmare on elm street

This was the best Tim Burton movie since Corpse Bride, which was the only good (in my mind) Burton movie since Sleepy Hollow. 2 Gems in an otherwise difficult last 10-15 years.

Pst, you may want to correct your description where it says "2012 Disney version", as the original was also a Disney film. Fantastic interview, I loved it :-)

The short live action movie is too damn perfect to compare to the longer but still mediocre animated remake that has very little emotions in it which kinda defeats the whole plot unlike this masterpiece here!!!! This is literally like a live movie that already looks completely animated or comicbook-like especially with the amazing sets & visuals & just how simple it all works together in such a short film!!!! Honestly this would be alot of ppls favorite movie of all time if this was the full length feature & the animated one was the actual short film!!!!! This is by far Tim Burtons real "masterpiece" regardless if its just a short film that he made before he got famous this is still the first & best of all his films regardless of what anyone else says!!!! The cinematography & lighting & music & editing & set designs are 100/100 perfection!!!!! They must have been crazy to not make this into a live full length film , it looks way too good to just be a short film & also Sparkys make up (his patches & stitches) in this film is better than anything ive seen on a live animal in any other movie ever made!!!! This might be a short Disney film & not a full length mainstream blockbuster but its still a masterpiece of film making & still my favorite film to ever be released by Disney regardless ❤ The acting is also perfect too by everyone especially the Bull Terrier that plays as Sparky , he definitely deserves a supporting Oscar for this role !!!! 10/10 masterpiece ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Just watched this movie last night with the kids. We are big Tim Burton fas and saw Beetlejuice and Nightmare before Christmas in the theatres. This movie was a big disappointment. Very "small ball" for Tim Burton. We have seen his last 5 movies in the theatres but they keep going down every time. I love Tim Burton, but hes a bit washed up.

Funny, because this is one of his better movies of the last 20 years.
