I’m wondering how the sensors thought, “cheek a cheek” is better to say than very carefully, when asked how nudist dance.😂😂😂😂😂 I also like Carol’s hair. I was a little surprised when the majority liked it long.🤓

I would imagine that some shows like this just let them be natural, while others probably had signs held up or lit up, instructing the audience. Not sure what they did on Carol's series. Plus, I know for a fact that there were some 1970s variety shows that had taped each epsiode without any audience-- in total silence-- and then later added the fake sounds in post production (The Cher Show, The Brady Bunch Hour, etc). Those episodes sometimes got a little tedious and silly because the crew was often too generous or enthusiastic with the "canned" applause and laughter. Ah, you've gotta love showbiz.

All the episodes are great, but I enjoyed the gentler humor that seemed to predominate in this one. Excepting the political sketch, of course; that was more the typical biting humor. It was a treat to see Isabel Sanford.

Edie Adams was married to Ernie Kovacs, as some people know. They had children/stepchildren and - I'd have to look it up again but I think their children all died quite young, sadly, just as Ernie did. I knew people who knew Edie and said she was a real sweetheart...lots of sadness in her life but she was always resilient.

Does anyone know what skit or episode it was that had Tim Conway in a water dunk tank and Harvey Korman was a radio or TV interviewer who was dunking Tim? Hilarious skit! Tim was holding his breath under water and Harvey wasn't noticing. Anyone know? Could be Carol Burnett show or Tim Conway's show. Thank you so much!

You seem to be confused; the Kay Kay Kay was a dem0crat organization. Democr@ts also opposed emm@ncipation, passed the Jim Cr0w laws, and overwhelmingly v0ted against the c1vil r1ghts act in the 60s. Amazing how the party has managed to convince uninformed people that it’s the opposite.
