1 hour 32 min - I totally agree with him on buying homes that may be slightly over priced but in the long run they will be worth a ton. No competition.
well this was an exceptionally cool guest. I love how Ferris will go and do interviews for these smaller channels. Huge fan of bp, huge fan of Ferris. Awesome.
What a great interview/conversation! Thank you for getting Tim on the show. I have enjoyed every BiggerPockets podcast, but this ranks up there with my favorites! Keep it up!
thank you, great talk and insightful.....wow, i listened to all 2 hours here on the couch after i finished my early thanksgiving dinner here in Thailand..
I like how at 1:29:15 he tried to be playful with Tim saying, "damn, I wanted to disagree with you," and Tim brushed it off to talk about meaningful things.
I personally believe that Tim Ferriss knows absolutely nothing about real estate investing. The advise he was giving and the way he supposedly 'invests' sounds like the typical appreciation speculation BS that I hear from the average person who knows very little about actual investing.I also get the impression that he is one of those people who loves hearing the sound of his own voice and yet has no actual actionable steps to help a person get to their goals. All the stuff about meditation and taking psychedelic drugs makes me not want to even take this guy seriously.I love this podcast and I have even enjoyed the episodes with other authors who do not actively invest in real estate, but this one was a long fluff piece from an author who seems to be living in his own cloud of superiority and trying to promote his upcoming book.
If he came off that way to you, I would really recommend looking into some of his other things. He's incredibly smart and I can't recommend his advice enough :)
Hi Tony, I got the same impression, but as I'm no native english speaker, I assumed, I didn't get all nuances. So far, I enjoyed every podcast, but this one is either beyond me or this guest is just a chatterbox, as you described.
First time I have ever heard Tim. Not what I expected. Maybe it’s like a movie that everyone says is the best and your expectations are too high. Kind of depressing.
