Tim knocks it out the park with no big cameras no production no none of that I will just sit in front of my piano and chill and a song. He could sing the phone book and still smash it.
I have listened to SO many covers of this song, most of which don't do it justice at all. But Tim did it exactly the way I like it! The right timing, and he kept it soft and laid back. So many people go for huge powerhouse moments in this song, but I prefer a laid back version.
Wow.... just wow!! No flash, no flare, no special effects... Just Tim's wonderful voice and his piano. I absolutely LOVE the simplicity of this rendition. Thank you, Marcia, for 1) requesting this, and 2) for sharing it with the rest of us. This made my soul soar.
Fascinating to watch him working thru possible variations--the hesitations and a couple false starts that had to be modulated. Still beautiful and I love that he chose to give you something special in the process rather than just singing a more polished but also more expected standard variation. The willingness to be that vulnerable is so much of what makes him so great.
How beautiful, Leonard Cohen must be so proud of your arrangement. This shows some, if not your full, range and the vibrato is perfection itself. Thank you Tim for this video.
It's december 2021 and still listening to songs and song covers of Tim. Still amazing as ever. Thank you for posting his song covers like this one. As a bass singer myself, Tim Foust will always be the best bass singer to me.
Tim's voice is beautiful all by itself, & I love getting to see his personality shine through. But dang, what I wouldn't give to hear all of the HF guys doing their thing with the harmonies on this one in the studio. Thanks for sharing!
That was absolutely incredible! I don't know how, after all this time, you can still blow my mind with your talent, but you do. God really blessed you with talent amd I'm thankful that I am allowed to listen to you.
Loved it! @TimFoust as always, you did a fantastic job! This has always been a favorite song of mine, & it’s even better with you singing it & playing the piano! Marcia, thanks for sharing this with us. I’ve been pretty down & out lately after breaking my leg & having surgery to repair it, & being alone, unable to walk, drive, or work, so this was a nice treat! God bless! #HomeFryForLife 💓💓💓🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️
Marcia, thanks for requesting this song and for sharing it. Love it. Tim's voice is just so amazing. Thank you for all that you share. It is very much appreciated. 🥰
real talent, like being over at a friends house who just happens to be incredible, awesome, humble, beautiful, incomparable -you get the point!!! love it.
I put off watching this video. It finally felt like the right day to listen today. I am in tears. Amazing how it turned up again in my feed when I must have needed it. Very pretty, Tim. I wanted to sing so bad, but I have lost my voice again. Marcia, thank you for sharing your videos. Mindy
Lyrics: Now I've heard there was a secret chord That David played, and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled King composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Your faith was strong, but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you She tied you to a kitchen chair She broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Oh, maybe there's a god above All I've ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya And it's not a cry that you hear tonight It's not some pilgrim who seen the Light It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much Couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though it all went wrong Stand before the Lord of Song Nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelu... Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelu... Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Tim, I love 💗 your version of hallelujah, that’s a favorite song of mine. I love 💕 a lot of songs, depending on who sings the song. Some people sing better then others! Thx. I love 💗 you.
