Thanks again Tim, awesome pickup. Loved the way the clouds and blue sky looked on the Fakahatchee lake. Thanks too for naming those orchids hadn't seen those type before, really beautiful. Didn't care too much for the alligator eating the alligator, but the mink made up for it. Looking forward to your next pickup.
Thanks for another Thanksgiving video from the Hilton. I'll be watching for the next one you put up; never miss one of your videos, Tim. Thanks for all you do! And, GOD bless.
Yay! I was hoping you would post your annual excursion to the Fakahatchee Hilton! Your video didn't disappoint. Man, stay away from those cottonmouths & gators! Scary!
Lisa and I just watched your Trail Cam Thanksgiving special and all is we can say is WOW! Man you hit the jackpot with that Everglades Mink my friend. Loved the whole video in it's entirety. Glad you didn't get bit by that Water Moccasin! Hope you find out the troubles with your one cam. See you soon pal. Keep those great wildlife videos coming.
Hi Tim. Those orchids are absolutely beautiful! This is the only way I'll ever see them because I can't see myself venturing into the swamps. Seeing that mink brought back some memories for me. Back in 2008 or 2009, our 2 indoor/outdoor cats had one sort of cornered in our driveway. Having never seen a mink in person, I thought it was a ferret. Our neighbor came over and told us what it was after we put Betsy and Blackie into the house. Neighbor Bev said that minks are usually found near water and woods. We live in northern Ohio farm country and the closest creek is about a half mile away. Same with the woods. When I saw it at first, it was sort of hissing at the cats. I love your videos and I'm always so happy when I see a new one from you! Thank you so much!
Tim , You were asking about E-Bikes. I got the Himiway step thru cruiser to use on the back roads ( off road ) here in Florida. The tires are Kenda 26" x 4", 20 psi. Besides the electric it's also a normal ( Shimano 7 speed ) bike. The motor is a 750 W high speed Brushless geared motor. The battery is a 48v 17.5 Samsung Lithium. The range on one charge is up to 60 miles with the peddle assist and up to 30 miles by motor only. Peddle assist is 5 levels but can be modified to 9 levels. The weight is 72 pounds without any accessories. I added the front basket to mine. The payload for the bike is 350 pounds. They say the top speed is 20 mph but mine will go 28.
@@ShrikeZone Honestly Tim...I believe that your subscribers would gladly donate a few bucks (each) to get ya' the E-bike. Maybe do a video to explain your need & we can donate a few dollars to you in your PayPal. ...just a respectful suggestion. Respectfully, Ben
NEW DRINKING GAME: Each time Tim says "Fakahatchee"...do a shot of Tequila. I challenge anyone to make it to the end of the video...without passing-out :-)) BTW Tim...AWESOME video & THANKS. Best regards, Ben
Once again you posted a great video. As always I enjoyed your day. You do a wonderful job capturing scenic beauty of the everglades. Thank you for your work. It brings me so much 😊
Hey Tim I was clean clearing trails with the friends of the fakahachee . I didn't make it to the Hilton but I was wondering if you were going to have Thanksgiving there this year. Glad to see your new recent video you inspired me to go to the fakahachee
I was thinking of you on Thanksgiving and wondering if you were at the Fakahatchee Hilton. The mink was sooooooo cute. What a sweet critter. The orchids were beautiful. I had never seen any of them until I saw them in your videos. Thank you for all you do. Stay safe. Stay Healthy. xo
Bear sniff's camera, says oh I gotta mess with this guy. I'm gonna poop here and in a month I can go to Mr. Tim's website and show my cubs, Mr Tim poking my poo with a stick. He's so silly, my cubs love him.
I always love your videos and worry about you wandering around alone in the swamp. You’re one brave guy! Thank you for what you do and I hope you can get an electric bike. Beautiful orchid and mink🤗🐝❤️
Awesome mink footage, beautiful animal. And always love the orchids. Always look forward to the next one. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you as always.
Another wonderful Thanksgiving at the Fakahatchee Hilton...at least for your fans. Sorry for your troubles, but you always conquer the challenges and provide outstanding footage of the flora and fauna that is exclusive to Florida. The mink was beautiful and reminded me of my ferret. That was the first time seeing the two orchids. You do scare the poopoopeedoo out of me when I see you wading through waters that have critters that can enjoy YOU for Thanksgiving, but I'm glued to the screen. Take care, have a wonderful holiday season. Thank you and I'll see you next time.
Great orchids. The mink pictures were really good. Glad it stayed around for you to get your video camera out. The gators were big. What is your best defense against them attacking you? I only ask because I don't know. Haven't got any here in the the wilds of the UK. Thank you for posting your videos.
Half the fun of these videos is seeing how close Tim comes to getting eaten, or poisoned, every time he goes to check a camera. 😎 That looks like a Happy Thanksgiving, at the Hilton -- including mink, so very posh, this year!
Great video-Thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving with us Please keep up the great work and content it’s wonderful to see you getting such great benefit from Florida’s amazing public areas
Awesome , Hi Tim , when you licked your camera lens it reminded me when I was diving to spit in the mask to stop fogging from happening which always worked better the anti fogging crap the dive shops in Palm Beach county sold , awesome videos , Thanks Tim
I think I’ve been watching your channel a couple of years, I remember last Thanksgiving video for sure. Your a funny guy and I love watching what kinda animals you get pictures of. Keep up the great work.
I want to know more about trail cameras being prohibited here. I looked on their website and there is no mention specifically about trail cameras being prohibited that I could find. Only a mention to “follow all rules posted at trailheads”. I’m afraid if these bans on trail cameras continue unchallenged we will not be able to use them anymore anywhere very soon. Tim please address this specifically in a video if you have not already. Keep up the great work and thank you Tim!
FANTASTIC VIDEO!!!!! Oh what beautiful orchids !!!! Wonderful shot of the mink, what a chance meeting, NICE !!!! Sorry about the notice prohibiting cameras, why is that an issue? To keep people / hunters from getting deer?
Love the Clam shell orchid. Have not seen that one before. I grow orchids so always interested in the ones you find in Fl. If i had to walk through that water to get my camera i think i would leave it there for quite some time. To many bad critters waiting to meet you. Good video
How exciting! My new favorite! I loved the orchids. And your capture of the mink shows you at the peak of your profession. It will be a challenge to top this one. Thank you for bringing this to us.
Good footage. Without your trail cam footage I wouldn't have been able to envision or visit the Swamp Hilton. Bears, gators and deer are just some of the swamp denizens that I get to enjoy through your lens. Thanks TH
Good evening Tim Another awesome video my friend The mink was nice to see and I like the part of the video with the turkey and rainbow colors from the sunlight coming thru 🤠 Of course the swamp orchids are always awesome and nice that you got to do your Thanksgiving at the cabin. Look forward to the next video so always take care and be safe out there 🤠🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great to go along with you placing and checking cameras. Glad you didn’t have a run in with a Gator, a Bear or a Cottonmouth! Nice mink clips and pictures and the footage of the gator eating was interesting as well. Take care, Char😊
The mink positioned itself perfectly as it peered out bet. foliage. Lovely. I made an 18 pound Turkey for 2 ppl this yr. I sent my dau off with most of it to a party being held for her friends who couldn’t make it home. I froze two meals for my son who will visit bef Christmas. I would have given u a meal as well. I make a great gravy & sausage dressing. Best wishes to you and your family.
Nice video. I have 7 Togard/Campark cameras and maybe there is something about their smell because 3 of them have tooth holes in the sensor covers and one was ripped off the tree by bears. Elk like to play with them also. Keep the videos coming and was cool to see the mink
Hi Tim, and hope your Thanksgiving holiday was a good one. Sorry about the camera issue and hope you get it worked out. Have you ever thought about trying some of the sub-micro Browing cameras? You can pick up the Browning Strike Force Apex for around $100 and often less. I see them for $89 and they're very durable, have really good video and audio. It's not quite Recon quality but still excellent. It and the Browning Dark Ops Apex are cameras we use often because we can afford putting a lot of them into the field. Just a suggestion. I think you would like the Strike Force. Awesome footage and photos of the Everglades Mink. Love those awesome little creatures. All my best wishes, and be safe, George
Thanks George. Being that I got started being a wildlife photographer and videographer, image and video quality has always been more important to me. I'm sure the pics and video on the sub-micro cameras are good, I've always wanted the 1080p video resolution that the Recon Force cameras have being that I shoot and export my videos at 1080p. Thank's for the suggestion. I might get a couple of those sub-micro cams to use as "scouts" to check out new spots.
@@ShrikeZone Yeah, the older one would make great scouting cams. The new version "Strike Force Pro XD" I better than my Recon Advantage, Edge or the Elite HP4. Killer sharpness and sound, wider angle of view with day lens and night lens is slightly wider. Until it, I actually like the Recon Advantage... the illumination field is not as wide, but wonderful sharpness (resolution), contrast and audio. The newer Recon cameras do have a wider illumination field because the LEDs are moved more forward giving a wider spread of light. But the broader light is softer and therefore the video has slightly less contrast. As you know from photography, harder more direct light produces better sharpness and contrast, where softer broader light is more suited for portraits and a pastel look when getting creative. All my best kola.... 👍🏼
Poor little Gator. 🥺💔 But I must admit that I found your death-roll sound effects freaking hilarious! That mink was so adorable. Great video, as usual, despite the loss of sound. Thanks for sharing with us. Take care and be safe out there! 😊👍
Thanks again Tim for such a wonderful video. I haven't seen a vid from Mark for a long time. So its just you and Watershed wildlife vids i crave for now.
Wow what a trek through the swamp to check your cams. Nice vid. I just caught my first porcupine on one of my cams, the only animal I haven't captured yet is a fox.
