@@christianmarshal6117 First time I heard this was on Sirius/XM and I didn't know who Tim Hawkins was. I saw the title "Imagine" and thought it would be like the John Lennon song. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.
"Imagine all the actors and musicians too would stick to acting and singing with no political views" is a bit too on the nose considering coronavirus celebrity edition
I'm sorry, you might have learned a thing or two in the past year, but that's complete und utter bullshit. EVERYTHING is political. If you hold some power (be it lawmaking or entertainment), you're political. And if you don't speak up, that just means you are ok with everything that's going on.
@@Vladpryde You mean January 6th, attempted insurrection against your own government damn sure is political. You must be on Vile Shittenhouse's defense team, way to make me feel somewhat sorry for him. Not to mention the half-assed performer here being a grade-a hypocrite.
I doubt you have watched it all. He has some VHS lol from 20+ years ago that I have watched. They are just as funny. We used to watch them at our Women’s retreats. I think I have seen 3 of them. I’m not sure if they have been made into DVD.
Love this parody! Can't tell you how many times I've listened to it. I love how Tim sings about actors and musicians not broadcasting their political views. I've boycotted so many actors and comedians that I've actually saved alot of money on the power bill staring at a blank TV screen
i lost all respect for John Boy in 6th grade when he told the world he/ they were more popular that Jesus Christ . which may have been true but it just didn’t settle well with many people. and still bugs me 60 years later 😳. but what a great song . i like this guy 👍🏼
That's pretty much all musicians do these days. Push hard for communism from their big mansions. And it isn't new. Look at the original lyrics by John Lennon for goodness sakes. its a terrible song that pushes an agenda proven to have killed more people than any other political ideology.
@@mgratk Look up the word communism and irony, because you know what neither of them mean but you fascists have a heaping helping of one of them, good luck figuring out which one.
@@radicalreactions1633 Oh yeah, right. No one who ever tried communism got it right, but this time will be different for sure. The left is and always has been the home of communism and fascism both. Th brown shirts were in DC attacking pregnant women TODAY at the so-called Women's March because they disagree with the state paying to kill babies with tax dollars. More than one very pregnant woman was attacked by your fascists today.
I'm always amazed how few people understand the lyrics. Unfortunate is a beautiful song. This song turned me against Lennon as I think he was a bit of a hypocrite.
If he sang that about Trump the responders here would want to crucify him. It's ok for the famous to have their opinions but only if those opinions coincide with theirs. Funny, when Ted Nugent talks politics they are all ears
@@Ambassador-For-Christ You, sir, are making yourself sound ridiculous. The intent , based on his past offerings, is obvious. And, you have the typical insulting manner of a trump supporter, so I will chalk you up to nonsense and fuggetaboutyou!
He's not a professional actor or singer. But thank goodness you found a reason to complain. He's not a hypocrite. But that was beautiful stone throwing...lol
I really love your version of this song 🎵 because I'm tired of people driving at 40mph in a 55mph zone for no reason and sitting at green lights because they don't like that shade of green
