There’s a second song that sounds like a Polyphia song. It’s like ⬆️⬇️ ABA or something. I’ve only heard it twice but it totally sounds like they took a Polyphia song and converted the guitars to synths.
@@russellward4624 You probably mean "↑↓←→BBAB" the song about video games: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-clh358FRrZU.html Polyphia is not credited in this song but maybe you're right and it has a polyphia kind of style :D
Sni-Metal I hearthstones first and was like “is that Polyphia?” And like a week later I saw a RU-vid thing where they showed a song list and I say their names and was like “Oh shit it was” but it wasnt the same song. I’ll have To listen to it again and figure it out.
Ouh, awesome! I missed Herman's broadcast, I know he's having Tim Henson but I just missed it for some reason T,T It's really cool to have Polyphia's feel on Babymetal song, it's different yes, but that's what Babymetal is all about ^^ BRAND NEW DAY feels great, sounds great, and this is a great clip!!! Thank you... :D
You called it 3 years ago lol I guess you already know BABYMETAL toured with Dethklok and Jason. They all loved the girls and the band and they took many pics together. It was the coolest thing
I'm not surprised it took Herman and Sam several passes at the backing track, while Tim and Scott did it in 1 try. Road of Resistance is way more complicated than brand new day. Brand new day is just a couple rhythm riffs (with matching voice riff) and a very small flex segment. Road of resistance has about twice as many rhythm sections and 2 separate lead sections. RoR is one of their most iconic songs, where as BND is nowhere near as popular. Ofc it's all about the lyrics, but the guitars do play a big part too i think.
It's also the style and the timing. RoR is a power metal anthem and was released in 2014 and is in the same album as all their famous songs like gimme chocolate and karate etc, which was the peak of their careers. Bnd was released in 2019, and the album was trying to venture out of its niche and be more experimental with the future of babymetal, and was just worse in general in terms of melodies and didn't have the same wow effect from when they started. I feel like the guitars in both songs are equally as amazing and technical in terms of the solos, but bnd was never set up for success as a song itself. tim did what he could but bnd is more electronic and is way shorter.
Same here, don't like to provide options to my clients too.. this is the best one, whether you'd like to revise it and take it or go somewhere else.. don't know it's bad thing or not tho..
