Tim McGraw acoustic cover of The Cars "Drive" 

I’m not a big Tim McGraw fan, but this has to be one of the best versions I’ve heard of this song. From an avid Cars fan, thank you, Tim. Beautiful.

The ultimate respect or homage to another artist is to not try to duplicate or replicate a song or make it your version of the song . But to actually feel that song inside of your heart and your soul and communicate that through your instruments . What you are seeing here people is musicians truly absorbed into emulating the essence and beauty of this great song . " Amazing"

Ric and Ben, we love you and miss you always. Tim and the boys, fantastic version but most of all "Thank You" for musically being right on point. We all loved it!

This man can’t sing a bad song. Such a talent. Tim’s voice is one of those when you turn on the radio you don’t have to wait till the end of the song to hear who it was You definitely know right away when you hear his voice. Amazing! Thank you for all the years and more to come with such great music.

hey Tim. I was just saying to my brother that I think a different version of this song would be so cool. And especially if it were a country singer did it. I think the late great Benjamin Orr is smiling down😊 nobody mentions the other original singer of the cars who sang this lost his battle with cancer on October 3rd of 2000 almost twenty years to the day Tim does this great cover😢🙏 I also like the beginning with the lapslide guitar it almost had a little George Harrison sort of vibe to it personally to me those first opening licks.. awesome job guys very very cool cover I really liked it. course I have like the boys from Boston ever since they roared out with that new wave cool first debut. Still Rock the debut CandyO Heartbeat City quite fairly regularly. of course who doesn't think of Phoebe Cates every time the cars living in stereo comes on🤔🙋👙 fast times at ridgemont high🎬🎥📀
