When my daughter was killed a car accident in 2004, my son asked if this song could be played at her funeral. It was, it was played as the mourners came down while walking by Stacy’s casket. But, all the mourners were singing this song as they past us…. Stacy Elaine Baxter 1981~2004 forever beautiful.. Tommy & Sharon Baxter

Tim McGraw is and actor as well- he’s made several movies. The one that comes to mind is “The Blind Side” and Friday Night Lights”. You might enjoy them, they’re both about American Football.

I listen to that song every morning with coffee. I've got a terminal disease and was given 5 years to live. After 6 and a half, it's finally catching up to me. I now live in the mountains, and have the best life I could have. Sometimes it takes something dramatic to to open your eyes to the beauty of the world. Thanks guys.

This song holds so much meaning for me. I was 40 when diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer. I had a less than 30% chance of making it. This has been my ringtone since being declared cancer free 6 1/2 years ago.

I know this is an older reaction from you, but I thought you’d like to know. He had this song on his upcoming album, and weeks before it was to be released he found out his dad had aggressive brain cancer with only weeks to live. He called the record label, and told them that this song had to be the first single released for the album. His father only lived 3 weeks after diagnosis.

My mom passed away last year. She was only 60. I'm 31 now. My entire adult life I've worked nonstop. Overtime, weekends, holidays, my birthday. I won't do it any more. Life and time are precious and I don't want to miss any more moments over a few dollars.

His wife (Faith Hill) sang the national anthem at the 1999 Super Bowl (Tenn Titans vs St. Louis Rams) and about 4-5 yrs ago was the singer for Sunday Night Football national broadcast for 5-6 yrs straight until replaced with Carrie Underwood. She's a big country artist in her own right and lives here in Nashville. Very easy on the eyes... ; ))

"Fun fact" This song was do to be released when Tim's dad passed away in 2004, and a lot of people think Tim wrote this song because of his dad, but the truth is songwriters Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman wrote the song months before Tug McGraw (Tim's dad) had passed away. And when it was released the song hit the top of the charts and won many awards, including song of the year.

Tim McGraw is probably my favorite country artist of all time, and that's saying a lot. Him and George Strait are my two absolute favorites, get some George Strait on here too.. Troubadour, Amarillo By Morning, Check Yes or No, I Cross My Heart, Write This Down, Give It Away, Ocean Front Property, You Look So Good In Love, Blue Clear Sky, Ect. There are so many good songs, I have to say between all of those I named.. I gotta say either Write This Down or Give It Away should be the one you choose if you choose one. All my fellow George Strait fans chime in lol.

Awesome you all are getting into country music. Since I know you’re into history as well, it might be worth checking out the series by the great American documentarian Ken Burns on the history of country music. It’s not good for a reaction video (8 episodes long), but could be fun viewing.
