Piano perfectly out of tune as a piano that’s crashed off the back of a Ute would be. This scene had me weeping like a baby. Truly beautiful song in a truly beautiful scene of a great tv series. Maybe I just really felt for the camel but there was a connection I felt to this performance like nothing I’ve ever felt before. Thank you Tim.
I only just saw the show, as he said in the final episode; "sometimes when you make mistakes, that's when you make something accidentally beautiful". God, this show was so much sadder than I thought it was gonna be...
It's the thing, that real loss can be picked up by every feeling soul and so this dead camel not only connects to a dead brother but all experiences of passed away or otherwise lost beings. And the pain rears up and yells, "of course I am still here, did you really think otherwise?!"
As a vet this hit me hard. Now that I lost my best buddy who was with me through every dark night for the last 12 years this song will forever make me cry.
It’s so incredibly hard to lose someone who is that beloved. Once you find something like this song, that helps with the pain, you hang onto it. It helps me a lot with the grief from the recent loss of my dad. All my hopes. ❤
Up until three weeks ago, I had no idea who was Tim Minchin... I, now, want to have his babies!!! Seriously now, I have seen the greek adaptation of Matilda, and have loved every minute of it, but I never thought of putting a face to the composer. Three weeks ago, I watched JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and I was speechless! That Judas was absolutely magnetic! I looked him up and I came across and extremely talented, super funny, ridiculously clever, a practical, yet sensitive artist, a sweet person! I declare myself, from "Who the fuck is Tim Minchin" to super fan for life!!! I consider my geting to know and love Tim Minchin my quarantine gift! Greetings from Greece!
oh I have this dream that one day Groundhog day will be streamed somewhere, there does not seem to be any official shooting of this broadway show, but one can dream, right? listen to the soundtrack, it is perfect.

Have you checked his comedy? Super sharp. It's kinda weird to see that some people now do not know him for his comedy, as that was his first claim to fame. I've only recently gotten into the other non comic stuff he's put out and I get why now, hahahahah
@@iurigrang Of course! I have checked almost everything! His comedy iis awesome! Told you... i had a blast during this Easter/Quarantine April! I have just finished watching UPRIGHT! I cried my eyes out in the last episode! I am during a "crusade " to get greeks aquainted with him, as we speak.... at least my friends....unfortunately, he is practically unknown in Greece... Matilda and JSC, can be a good start.....
Same for me. Before Easter I had no idea who this man was. But I was so stunned by his performance as Judas, I couldn’t help myself but to watch everything I can find on RU-vid, bought several DVDs etc. In Germany he is not very known as well, but I still hope I can see a concert of his, at least in the UK. So far, the lock down has produced something good and I can see that trough JCS he has definitely achieved new fans :D
@@nailfanish I, now, regret quitting CALIFORNICATION on season 3. I got bored of it. I will start watching season 6, because Tim was in it! And he was amazing!!! So many talents, combined into one man! Superb!
