The Merkur 37C is one of my favorite razors. I think I may give Tim's Soap a try. Thanks for taking the time to share the video!

Hi Kevy. Real nice shave. I`ll always remember the Personna shave commercials when I was a kid back in the late fifties or early sixties here in the states. The narrator in the commercial was a Scott and he would roll the rs sound and that was how I was introduced to the Scot accent. Just one of those things you remember. Have a good week whats left of it and keep those videos coming.

Great minds think alike. My scuttle arrived yesterday, all though mine was a Georgetown Pottery G12. I actually unintentionally started growing a beard because of the drop in temperature, which I wasn't expecting since South Florida doesn't usually get cold, even in winter. I've also been working a lot, and I value my free time, so that's the other part of it. Looking forward to finally using the scuttle tomorrow with warm lather. :D

Boar brushes take a while to break in, so don't give up on that brush! Once broken in it will hold more lather and splay easier.

I've stopped blooming the soaps because I find that a wet brush is enough to build up a good lather, even with a hard soap. Soaking the puck beforehand can't help but use it up that much quicker. Just watch what happens when leaving a cheap hand soap bar in a soap dish that just has a little water. Are you anywhere near one of the several locations of this store?
