Beautiful card Koren! 😍 Next time try stamping on the die-cut piece directly. Or use the negative piece as a guide. I got inspired by your card to bring out my Honey Bee Stamps build-a-house die and start making some cards of my own. Btw, I think you and your husband should do these Thank you-cards together! 💕
I’m gonna try using the negative space as a guide on the next few cards. I think that will help. Thank you so much for watching. Tim would make a mess lol 😆 I think it’s a great idea. ♥️♥️♥️
I have a secret! Shhhh! 🤫 Don't tell any of the other crafters I follow (and there are so many I love!), but when I see a Koren video pop up, that's the first one I watch! Beautiful card, as always! 💖🏠😊
Awe that turned out really cute. I remember on one of the craft cast when Tim asked for "Thank you" cards. I figured he would of gotten a lot of replies (a lot of cards mailed in to him). Maybe he should put out another request. I don't even think I own a house stamp/die. Even if I do, I don't think he would want my end results lol, maybe if I had you talent/skills. Have a blessed and beautiful weekend /holiday!
We did get cards from that request. We were so very thankful. It doesn’t matter what they look like, his customers appreciate the kind gesture. They don’t even have to be roofing related. Thank you so much for watching Deborah. ♥️♥️♥️
Love the card…specific leaf effect is fantastic! Gives me good idea for a company-owner longtime friend. Always a joy to see that beautiful face pop up on Utube! 🥰
I think if you have to make many a cut out house to place the stamp inside would make it straighter..I like that it's whimsical, and yes Scan N Cut need defines lines, you cut it after coloring so that helps, I think stencil or solid leafy stamp would work better. I think the card is gorgeous anyway. to make the white embossing crisper try the Laurel Beard hack by stamping with a white pigment ink instead of clear ink, might save time on trying to fill it in with a white marker if you know what I mean. I'm sure Tim will love them and his cusotmers also, seems like a lot of work to do, so they better ;)
I’ve done embossing with white pigment ink in the past. I like that technique but my pigment ink is not very white anymore. I need a new ink pad, mine has yellowed over the years. I was thinking of enlisting the help of my girls to help me color a bunch of the leaf images all at one time. Thank you so much for watching Maaike ♥️♥️♥️
Hi Koren! You will make Tim's day when he sees these cards! Just a suggestion about the wobbly house stamp. Would it help to cut out a template with the die and then put the stamp in the negative image to line it up? Just wondering... Have a great 4th! BTW have you seen Nicole Spohr on Flosstube? She is pretty good!
Yes! That is a great suggestion! I will do that on the next one. I have seen that Nicole does flosstube. She’s a fantastic creator. I’m always in awe of how much content she creates. She’s a machine!!! Thank you so much for watching Carrie. ♥️♥️♥️
Hope your health is better. Enjoyed the video and loved the way you used the vine stamp set with the house. I have the Built on Dreams stencil. Love it.
Hey sweet girl I love your card even with the issues - the layered leaves are perfect and I especially adore how you left bits uncoloured! (p.s. the leafy stamp's die and stencils are in stock at PF's site.)
I’m thinking about how to do that. He doesn’t have too many residential customers so I thought I could make them but we could print some as back up. I thought about enlisting my kids to help so they can be thankful as well. It definitely needs to be simpler. Thank you so much for watching Laura. ♥️♥️♥️
