He should have switched positions years ago when he left Denver. He would have still been in his prime and still had time to grow into the position. He was never going to be a starting QB or backup on a regular basis. He simply just wasn't accurate enough throwing the ball. Plus he really didn't have a strong arm didn't have enough zip on his passes. Long slow throwing motion without any zip on his passes

It matters whether he's good enough at football to make the professional football team he's getting a tryout with. Disagree! Tebow should be still playing qb. Nobody wanted to help him fine tune his qb mechanics. When a person is outspoken about Christianity like Tebow that person is blackballed. Russell Wilson is just as big a Bible thumper as Tebow and is thriving in the NFL. Same went for Kurt Warner, Reggie White and Roger Staubach before him. Tebow wasn't blackballed because he's Christian. Tebow was blackballed because he SUCKED. Being openly Christian is what got him so many chances.

I am a big Tebow fan, but I am so confused. What did they expect? Tebow is a great athlete, but played QB is whole life. There are 100's of good TE out there that played college or on practice squads, and they chose Tim over them? If you want him on your team to be valuable, let him block on special teams and run wild cat formations every now and then.
