TIM VINE - WHITTLE 

I took part in this programme too - the day we filmed it the audience of 100 included 50% Japanese Tourists who had been placed in the audience by their tour operator - who hadn't realised it meant they would actually be taking part in the show! Of course, they couldn't speak a word of English, which didn't matter too much until one of them made it to the top ten by pure fluke, and reduced the whole thing to a farce. I still can't believe they aired the show, but they did! Mad!!!

I loved this show. It was the best programme channel 5 did early on. And it was the first thing I ever saw Tim Vine on and I've thought he was ace ever since.

I remember looking forward to this show every weekend as a young boy. Must've been only 10 years old at the time. Good times, thank you Tim Vine.

i used to watch this all the time. tim vine shows just how funny he is even back then. im glad hes getting the recognition he deserves now with " not going out ". love it when the guy at 3.23 shouts out "double decker". brilliant. thanks for posting.

I was a contestant on this in 1998, and yes, it really was this bad. It was filmed at Maidstone Studios, Kent and some of the contestants were the staff/crew. Very budget, very bad, very fun.

Never watched channel 5 because it was shit otherwise i would have seen this .I didn't even know what time it was on because I never checked the channel 5 time list and I didn't know who Tim vine was otherwise I would ov definitely watched this
