I grew up Republican and this rally has the vibes that I remember as a kid rather than what they’ve turned into nowadays. Wholesome positive energy is such a breath of fresh air.
I've met Gov Walz twice at the dog park. He treated me with the same courtesy and love he shows VP Harris - I've only seen him be compassionate and not stoop or take the bait. He's a great governor and the US would be so lucky to have him as VP! I am feeling so grateful there are good humans who are running. Also, his dogs are super sweet! 😊
I met him many times at Minnehaha, too! And totally agree -- he was the nicest, most down-to-earth guy to everyone there. Hope there's a dog park in DC for Scouty! ❤

MN guy here. For years I have seen the MN Republican party underestimate Tim Walz. And time and time again he has kicked their butts......kicked them good. And boy are they unhappy right now.....and got really sore butts too.
He's won reelection in Congress like 5 times in a rural area which votes overwhelmingly red usually. He's the dark horse the Dems have been looking for.

@@jeffsoos This has been debunked. The bill he signed provided for hygiene products in school bathrooms and didn’t require them in boys bathrooms. Many other states, such as Alabama, Ohio, and Utah have similar laws.

The first congressional district of MN I come from knew of this guy's potential since 2006. I have lived a good majority of my life with this guy representing the district I lived in and I voted for him for governor. This is the kind of politician I wish was more prevalent in America. Holy moly.
