You're the best in the biz at doing these tours and interviews Cosmo...quick wit and humor... and you often know more than the owners do about their own trailers hahah! The TimberLeaf was one of the trailers on my short list when I was shopping for my trailer....really nice and up there with the best.

I do; however, enjoy your technical reviews as I live in CA and like to prepare for earthquakes and other natural disasters we experience. Thanks for all your informative materials. Thanks Art. I think the same way. I agree 100% and think the same way. There is little difference between being ready to camp and being prepared for a disaster. Water purification, portable radio, lighting, rechargeable batteries, solar etc. all add up to having a comfortable camping trip or riding out lack of services. With human density so high we face the shortages of everything, along with rapid transmission of disease now too. When we pulled out of Syria we had 3 million people flee across the Mediterranean into Europe. We are just one long drought away from famine. Within a 100 mile radius of my front door are 50 million people. If they start moving in a panic it will be a pretty big dust storm. Stay in your foxhole. The most dangerous thing on the battle field is an officer with a map. Ha ha ha. Regards =Cosmo

Thanks for this Cosmo! I love watching your videos listening to you spew our every little thought that is going through your head to us here on the other end sitting in front of our TV. I live near Quechee, VT in Bethel in the heart of the Green Mtns. I built my own 5x8 teardrop last year and have not used it once. It has a galley and I installed a 115v heat pump. I hope to tow it with my AWD Dodge Challenger to Montana come spring 2022.. I welded up my own roof rack and purchased a Rhino Batwing awning set up. I thought it would be perfect but it does not cover as much as I thought it would. The batwing covers the galley area a little but I think just having one something like this "sun seeker" is better. Batwing looked pretty cool on paper I guess. "Keep talking". Bill (Vermont)

Thanks for commenting on this Bill. First of all congrats on your build and I lookforward to some video of your upcoming adventure. I love Vermont and was boondocking there in early spring (snow) 2021. I will be back. Awnings are a great topic. Check this one out for a possible easy add to your rig. Its small but simple. I use free standing shelters which give me a great deal of flexibility. I can choose the shelter for the mission. Awnings do not have bug protection (to state the obvious). $28.000? Wow! Do you like Bean teardrops? I have a Casita but I admire the purity of the teardrop concept. It is much like admiring the economy of movement (and purpose) in the Japanese traditional tea ceremony. There is room for all of us in the camping universe although those in large 5th wheels and class As seem reluctant to acknowledge the rest of us. Camp on! We are all one in our reach for life.

Hi Richard Ya sticker shock but thats what rigs are going for. Its a big commitment. Pandemic pushed up prices last year and they are slow to fall. But the supply lines for building materials is all messed up. Ports in China close often due to virus.That impacts everything down to glue and screws. The good news is when I pass RV sales lots they now have inventory and deals may follow soon. I like lots of windows that open so that ruled out many rigs for me I researched for a year before I bought. Like you I looked at all I could. I flew to Minnesota to see the trailer and talk with the maker. I had looked at many before the Vistabule. As soon as I saw it my friend and I agreed it was the right one for me. But I slept on it for a month first and looked at all the video I took of it several times. Then I dove in! But my needs changed when I started boondocking. Fortunately my maker could retrofit heat and the electric fridge. If I wanted air conditioning Vistabule can add it later. Camp-Inn would not be able to so that. You might consider what can be added later when shopping. Also its not fun for most people to cook outdoors in the rain. I have no problem with it. the gift is in the adversity for me! When I come across a Bean in my travel I will have more to say! Meanwhile I call out points that might matter to me. U akso can add additional power packs to the ecoflow pro,would take ur power up to 1600 wh plus a 3rd power pack for 2300wh

Hi TM the small trailer is a nice switch. You live in an RV you live out of a teardrop. I love it. Its also great at getting into hard to get to spots which there are less people at. OH! OH! OH! Taking a King Arthur class is TOPS on my list of things I want to do when I retire (shortly!) But Cosmo, you could give them a lesson on waffles ... I'm still making your waffle recipe. Hope you find Acadia pleasant ... I think some of their roads have been damaged by torrential rains this year. Looking forward to seeing your report.

Hi Leslie. Glad to hear your enjoying the waffles too! Mmm Yummy. When I was in Vermont I purchased 2 gallons of Maple Syrup at an unbeatable price. KAB is a great place. The baking class was $600 for 4 days 5 hours a day. I dont regret it. It was quite Covid safe. Only 8 students and everyone had to be masked with no eating in class. But at break time they took out the butter and everyone went outside to eat their fresh hot whole grain bread. We baked several types of bread a day. Some had to be started a day or two before. Croissants took 3 days. BUT YUMMY! I will try and work more of the class into future videos. Maine was a lobster fest at roadside stands with lots-O-other seafood too. More later. Regards =Cosmo

I have an Echoflow Delta and purchased it after doing a lot of research.. One of the things I like best about the unit is that it can recharge to 80% capacity using 120v.. If I recharge while driving car, I do not use the 12v option. Instead I use a300watt pure sine wave inverter to keep the fast charge time.. Takes many hours using the 12v method..

I watch your channel for the trailer/ camping info. But I had to sQUEEEeeee! with delight at the mention of the KA bakery and class. I can't imagine being so close to something like that. That would be so much fun! I switched to KA about 8 years ago and won't use anything else. lol

Thanks Andrea. Had a great time at KAB. We made loads of bread every day nd had lots-O-fun giving it away at camp. All of it was whole grain even the delicious Croissants. Learned a great deal about kneading. Will have to se how I do at home without those wonderful ovens. Not sure how a dedicated video about this will work but I may try. Would not be my first flop. Enjoyed the vid Cosmo I like the bright yellow on that trailer,looks really good but a tongue box on the front of that would give him more storage ,I just picked one up for my utility/cargo trailer I'm building and there are many types to choose from.

I have a WeeRoll Nomad 6 x 10. I can't afford the investment that needs to be made for tear drops. But l love ur videos and have learned a great deal from them. Got a 6x6 Clam for when l go alone. Might by the larger one if l can get my bride to come along. Thanks for all ur sharings.

Iduno Herb. Seems like you have a nice rig already. I have seen some really nice utility trailers that were finished inside like a palace! Why not work with what you have? Ya Clam shelters are great. I have 3 now. I use them all a great deal. Extra living space is fantastic when camping in a small space. Sounds to me like you are ready to go have fun. @@CosmoWeems I not absolutely sure I've watched all of them but have watched a bunch. Trying to learn as much as I can so I don't screw it up when I get one, lol. Btw, have you ever heard of or run across a teardrop manufactured by Vintage Trailer Works? They're made here in Alabama.

Vintage looks nice. In general I would look for a maker that has been around a while and has made several hundred trailers. The demand is high right now and sales are good. Its my "opinion" when demand falls many company's will go out of business. Winnebago went bankrupts in 2008. Also makers tend to learn a lot about construction and waterproofing over time. =Cosmo

That was a good interview and review. Well, have you had a great camping season? I thought I'd leave a comment for you, the guy on Tech Ingredients says it helps a channel and I didn't know if you were trying to build the channel or not.

Ya TV fear mongering. We only have Black bear here in the east. Bear are the second smartest mammal in America second only to humans. The animal to be fear in the woods are humans. There are 16,000 human on human murders a year in the USA. There is less than one black bear attack a year in the USA and that is usually due to human stupidity which tells the whole story. We are of one mind. The trailer is 3/4 plywood and stronger than larger RVs which are plastic on an aluminum frame. Thank You for watching. I sleep with bear spray in mine. It is a pretty tough little rig though and it has a lot of external light to help with situational awareness. It would take a little while for the bear to get in, long enough to wake me up and get my whits about me. Two doors help too. Also, would you rather be in a tent? These teardrops are really replacements for tents, they aren't RVs in my opinion. Hard-sided Bear resistant tents, that make extended camping and traveling much more livable.

Yipes! You are making my point! Sorry to hear about that. Was it wind damage? My type of trailer is pretty small and it seems a bit over the top to add some of these awnings unless you really need it. ESPECIALLY in wind. There are many other solutions.
