Vistabule Teardrop Galley/Kitchen - Full Tour w/ Cosmo Weems 

I'm sad that I just discovered Cosmo and this is my first clip to see. I will peruse his every video and learn what I can. I'm coming up on retirement and a Vistabule is in my near future. I couldn't be more thrilled to head out on the backroads. RIP sir.

Really enjoyed the video Brian .I've been following Cosmo's channel for a couple years now.im not even into camping but in someways I wished I were out doing the fultime rv or van life thing ,I have been out here on the road for the last 27 years doing long haul trucking.will look forward to checking out more of your vids.

That's pretty cool that you and Cosmo got to bump elbows, literally ;-) I bought a 10FB last year and I agree with your reviews completely. Thanks so much for your honest reviews. It's not a bad trailer and as you eluded to if you're handy all the better. Braxton could do better though and I think they should. With some refinement and better QC they could have a winner on their hands. Other than the frame to cabin recall I've pretty much solved all my warranty issues on my own. Honestly, had I let the dealer fix those items the trailer would've spent more time in the shop than on the road last year. But I've got plenty of familiarity with fixing RVs so all in they were fairly trivial for me to work on. I'm enjoying mine and in fact I'm off on another trip with it tomorrow. If you're interested here's a couple of photos showing what I started in the kitchen last Summer to get a proper compressor fridge out back in short order. It's only temporary as I'm still trying to sort out exactly what I want to build out back. I did have to delete the sink and now just go with collapsible wash tubs. I have no interest in fitting a sink as there's no good options for a mounted grey tank and I don't care for the ensuing swamp under the trailer. photos.app.goo.gl/FF67uE6pFp5272sH9 So other stuff. Sort out the kitchen, obviously. So far I power it off a single 100W hard panel. I'm out West so sun power isn't hard to come by. I'm waiting for the "stock" battery to die off before I upgrade that. Surprisingly that cheap little 80AH wet battery [ which really only is good for 40AH ] just keeps on ticking no matter how much I abuse it. The radio is ridiculous. Braxton, if you follow any socials postings about your products then please do yourself and your customers a favor and ditch the radio in favor of one of those Furion RV bluetooth dockable speakers. Or just toss in any decent USB chargeable unit. I've got an ARB awning and side tent on backorder. Hopefully I'll get it before the season is too far along. I'm fine with rigging up a tarp but my wife? Not so much. The design for the AC mounting in the 10FB has a lot of problems that can't be properly resolved and I typically follow the weather so I've rarely used AC in any RV I've had. It's coming out. I suspect that on yours it works far better as it's much more open on the condensor side. I keep looking at how Vistabule did that pass through window and am inspired by it. Once I come up with a plan for that I'll be redoing the entire rear cabinet and deleting the AC and maybe a pass-through. A suggestion if I may? Instead of changing the lenses on your side lights how about installing rock lights below the cabin? You can get amber, red or whatever suits you. That also puts the lights below eye level so you can still see the ground fine and keep your "night eyes" working well. I really like the VERY BRIGHT clear side lights as they are for one thing. Backing in and setup late at night, especially in tight spots. I recently picked up one of those portable water heaters and am thinking of ways to plum that in but right now I just hang it from the roof rack and plug it into the QR water port. So that "15 feet" of kitchen hose came in handy after all ;-) I've swapped out the stock USB ports for QC3 units and added a couple more and some 12V ports as well. Oh, a little thing. I added some Anderson power poles in the galley for the fridge. I found when bumping down fire roads and the like the standard 12V sockets don't hold the cable very well. All in it's a great way to camp and it's fun to tinker with it. If you don't have the budget (or patience to wait for the build, like me) for a high-end teardrop then these can be had pretty easily. I got mine when they were still $10K but prices on them are getting up there now I've seen. Small mobile digs is the way to go for me. Boondocking and quick setups, so awesome!
