It's similar to dames situation where he's been forced to adapt to a new role but beal didn't get as much time to do it since he was out for so much of the season. He did fall short of expectation but it's understandable why it could happen.

In all honesty that just kind of proves the Suns weren’t close to figuring out this Wolves team… Gobert was played off the court in Utah because their perimeter defenders were poor. Nearly every time teams went small against Minnesota this year it was punished. The only reason Gobert was off the court this game was foul trouble.

@@blakegibson2525 His free throw shooting was very good this series. I feel like that was a point he was a liability in the past. I remember watching a few games where teams chased after him to force him to the line. Not sure if he worked on it or just dealt with the pressure better but he was damn good.

@@MrArrow54 Yeah I don’t know if you can count on that still, 65-70% is way better and credit to him but it could still force him off a little. Finch will usually do offence/defence subs though and have KAT and Naz on the court when they try to hack him and that keeps their size imposing enough until Gobert can come back on.
