There are possible spoilers in the comments, so proceed with caution. ⚠️ So far, its really been an interesting anime that has a lot of potential and personally in the current time where we see Schlain as a teen, Wakaba could also be the Demon Lord girl and maybe its one of her split personalities that managed to detach itself from Wakaba
Sad that someone already revealed one of the biggest twists for you, that was an incredible moment when reading for the first time But hey, I mean, so she's a spider, so what? Right?
i see this when there are 23 episodes out and this is what i think at the moment. (if you havent seen till episode 20 it may spoil somethings) I think she is the only one without a way she dies. Like you know the teachers skill to see how and when they die, but cuz spider is imortal (can still die) i think there isnt a time or way she dies vissible. maybe she sais she is dead cuz what sence does it have when she sais she cant die. You may find out a lot more about this then me.
As a LN reader, You are correct on the time difference. While episode 10 connected current Wakaba being 15 years in the past. episode 9 also confirms the time difference with Julius's story of how the Spider Silk and Fei's egg were recovered from Kumoko's first house 15 years ago. This references Kumoko in episode 2 recovering, trying to eat, and losing the egg while her nest is burned down.
@@kokyri4748 Another Spider (with likely connections to MC), Kumoko is shown/referred to later to be the Nightmare of the labyrinth, Julius's Hero Party called that spider a Nightmare's Vestige (That means something like Nightmare's shadow). Maybe it is a off spring of Kumoko that she created and left in the Labyrinth. This is assuming she acquires the egg-laying skill at some point.
Thogh its not the Timediferece that makes this storry good to exelent. Its the fact that the MC for once actually earned her op status and is not given Goodhood at ep 1 from an apologetic God............she worked and earned very bit of her storry and when she gets cooky and overconfident it bites in her behind again and again.
There are many plot twist in the series .. Wakaba is not Wakaba, Kumoko is not Kumoko, evil is not evil, good is not good .. The reason for war will be revealed later in the series, and it's a plot twist too.
So basically in the EP where the hero got killed and killer was kumoko in her human form which means she already evolved, ah it all makes sense now. Great explanation bud!
Hmmm, i just assumed that she was but yea, she was never named so maybe she’s the other gloomy person in the class. Or maybe kumoko is the friends we lost along the way. When i was doing research, i was confused because the first name i found was Shiraori and i almost used that name but then i found out that she might be wakaba and the flashback had a wakaba so i used that name. But theres also another name which is D. So i think they’re either alter egos or smth like that. Im not so sure, I’m anime only
@@Chrisfragger1 well, i would assume so because in the first episode after we first see Kumoko, she recalls memories as a student with one if them being in literature class. And in her flashbacks, she looks like what we see wakaba looked like
@@Animovu Haha... Man, I could blow your mind if you want... I can tell let you know the truth, if you wish, click read more. Kumoko was actually a spider that lived in the classroom when the incident happened, she was never human, the "human" Wakaba you see in flashbacks is not Kumoko, but she is connected to Kumoko in an interesting way, Wakaba is actually Administrator D playing hooky from her job as a God.
@@Chrisfragger1 Wow, i didnt expect that, i just realised that in her first flashback, there was a spider...how’d a spider know what literature and games are tho?
Wakaba was born before the other reincarnated, and reached adulthood much faster... except for the vampire. This also means she'd been struggling in the labyrinth while the others have been living relatively peaceful lives. Lucky for everyone she doesn't begrudge anybody (in particular the teacher) that... but that might be because she hasn't had any contact with the others except for a the vampire... which she did throw a little tantrum over. If Wakaba learns about the teacher's clairvoyance (roster) it would make their relationship rather complicated. At the end of the second season the timelines seem to have converged- Wakaba and her mom exited the labyrinth a little while before the coup, then Wakaba spent some time long-range babysitting while the rest of the world turned.
Let me get this straight. So the scene we see Wakaba Perspective is 15 years ago, and the Teens kids, the hero's friends are 15 years later? So Basically White(Wakaba I assume) is currently the Demon lord subordinate 15 years later, and the spider scene was 15 years ago where white/Wakaba/spider was trying to run away from the demon lord and saved Sophia(when she was a vampire baby)? In conclusion, 15 years ago she's half-human and spider but 15 years later she now has a full human body? And ofc Sophia's master is White aka Wakaba... Cause this makes so much sense after thinking about this. Because when I saw White in her human form and Wakaba half-human and spider, I thought they were a completely different person in the same timeline, but people were saying they're the same person. I was like what how?
Subaru trying to explain to the police that he was the molested by someone touching his heart inappropriately Subaru: I'm telling you I tried to say something about my talent and all of a sudden I felt this lady's hand just slithering in my body Cops: how many drinks you've had tonight sir
The scenes with the spider are from 15 years ago, while the other students' scenes are in the present. So they're all 15 years old, including the protagonist. But the only difference is that the spider already has the mind of an adult or whatever, even if she's still a baby and started her journey immediately, while the others are still literally babies. Meaning, she has been training herself for the past 15 years until she evolved into her human form and met the others in the present?
But why did they make it hard like this my head hearts from all this thinking couldn't they just pointed out in every scene where the spider appears that it happened 15 years ago that way no one will get confused
I have no idea that there was a timeline gap or something in the anime. I thought it was just the same timeline as with the other reincarnations ahahahah.
I believe wakaba was reincarnated 8months before the rest tho not certain about the rest of them only dragon girl is known to be techniquly be alive but unhatched. It's unclear if she hatched,(reincarnated) after before or later bc monsters grow faster.
big question does kumoko become shiro or whatever cause when i readed the fandom it said that she got her human form and she and Ariel were now traveling together or smt and she got the name white as i read there so somebody explain?
Kumoko is White. They are the same. Basically Kimono keeps abusing the system to the point where she does finally reach godhood. Which, while a powerful upgrade statuswise, puts her back at the starting point in learning to use the related powers. Being a god means being able to self determine the use of these powers, with no training wheels like when you are using the system. No hand holding, just you actually figuring the technique out. And the system actually does compete for a certain amount of magical bandwidth so you can't use any of the old techniques you learned while using the system or face immediate failure. It is like, when learning to ride a bike, going from having people helping you every step of the way to using a motorcycle. Hell of an upgrade but you will likely crash a lot given the abrupt nature of the shift. Which is what Kumoko does. For 2+ years after the upgrade. She mostly spends the time until the war training to learn how to function as a god. And figuring out how she is gonna shut down Guli Guli since he will likely not approve of what she really has in mind.
Fun fact: The anime never states that she is Wakaba. But I suppose you could stumble over that information online rather easily. Personally I had no idea who they were talking about when I watched it.
And it took me last episode to figure it out. I was actually very confused on the last episode that why the characters have similar face and younger or older. I was like thats lazy character art or story, but the last scene i realise how wrong i was
Spoilers for newer episodes Im at the part where the humans are in the middle of a war with elves and wakanna is fighting the demon lord and if sensei can tell if they are dead then my guess is she time travels somehow
This show was a complete mind fuck..i had the exact same theory while watching it just for it to be unquestionably confirm in the last episode... However I am still racking my head over why Sensei proclaims the death of our spider goddess rather than just saying she doesn't know where she is exactly because we all know she can't be killed
After watching all 24 eps I realized they were showing two sides of the stories and two different timelines and we basically watch a 24 ep long prologue to the war 😮
This manga has good plot twist, but if only they didn't really put Shun and Hugo mindset as "main character". Its just annoying and purely naive type of mc
Tbh now I just finished ep 24 and now ONLY I NOTICE IT'S DIFFERENT TIMELINE so that's why I'm here to understand better but still need more explanation Like demon Lord just kill mc infront of the hero in the war and then reborn then immediately at ending the spider is aldy in human form and at the wat again
You have always know that whenever u see her in her human form, thats the future. And the ending where the demon lord and her allies were there is before the fight with the Schlain and potimas
Yeah, no way. Spoilers, so don’t read more. Kumoko doesn’t meet Wakaba until after she becomes Shiaori, actually being named by Wakaba, real name D. Shiaori has no real ability to even hurt D unless she allows it, and all she got was a punch because D purposely put Ms. Oka in danger by giving her the student roster and reincarnated her as an elf.
"Spoiler Alert!!" . . . . . . . . Kumoko's actual true identity was a normal spider that happened to be in the classroom at the time everyone got reincarnated. Upon being spotted, one of the students, Natsume Tengo, wanted to squash her but was stopped by the teacher, Ms. Oka, who allowed to the spider to stay as a sort of class-pet. However, the students were disgusted by it and Kumoko spent her days in the classroom desperately clinging on to life. One day during class, a mysterious explosion occurred and killed everyone in the classroom, including Kumoko. In reality, the explosion was the result of a previous Hero and Demon Lord's attempt to assassinate D. Feeling responsible and thinking it would be fun, D reincarnated the students. However, such an act would definitely attract the attention of the underworld staff. Thus, to distract them, she took Kumoko's soul and overwrote it with a piece of her own, effectively overwriting her existence, before reincarnating her as well. I Warned you.. 😁
@@Animovu yeah agreed but they explain some of it in the later episodes making most episodes just so boring and to some people the fact that the spider plot line already happened makes some people lose interest amd episode 18 is just pure pure dialogue with the humans and its just criminaly boring and seeing generic blue hair good guy all the time makes it worse
@•Maple_puff• thats why i dont skip them bc i genuinly like the spider plot and i wanna know whats gonna happen but i just get very bored with the human plot it feels more like a chore watching it
Season 2 will be one time line in the Past on How they formed a Team to kill the Elves and adding power. Then season 3 would be the current present then until they reach the great War of the Admins and until she Became a God to hold the World and The Twist on the LN was soo shocking in the past hahahahaha
the last episode of the season is finally out, so spoilers, yes there is a time difference. Somewhere in the middle of the last episode you have Kumoko evolving into a half spider, half human, which looks exactly like the "Girl in white" that serves Ariel (the demon lord and the first spider). Further than that, "The baby bloodsucker" (don't really remember, I believe she was introduced in episode 20 or somewhere around that) looks a lot like the vampire (reincarnated Spooky) that attacked the other reincarnations in the battle for the elven forest. Not only that, but 1-2 episodes after the baby Spooky is introduced, we see a battle between two countries, that started after Kumoko killed an envoy because he was pissing her off. Ariel Is there too, but she wants to kill Kumoko and doesn't have anything to do with the war between the two counties. There, we can see a kid that looks similarly to Schlain or his brother (it's probably the latter, because the kid has a skill called "Hero").
Yes the time skip or time gap really confuses me also because there’s so much going on in the anime and I’m often not paying attention or not understanding because I really have to read the subtitles so this explanation was so needed I’m really into this anime and I want to enjoy it but sometimes I get so confused
i actually now understand the time twist in this anime they should not do that cause it leads lots of spoilers lol im actually surprise who is the main character in this anime
Who is wakaba i know kumiko im 99.99 percent sure kumiko is the white human lady whilst I was watching the anime she shows the option for humanfication but i think she needs 1 more evo then she needs another evo and she human
@@ChuChuAndAhBa [ S P O I L E R S] essetially yes. kumoko is wakaba's(the evil god) copy, who was a spider living in the classroom that got reincarnated. Memories and personality of "Wakaba" were implanted into her during reincarnation. Also "Hiiro Wakabe" is a fake persona D created to "play" highschooler to play hookey from her god duties. Also they look the exact same when kumoko gets her human form.
Before getting to know that this video existed I have had read all the light novel that were already translated. And the light novel was actually so much better than the anime, albeit the anime has it’s own perks in its own small way.
Not me, i prefer to learn things as the story progresses so that my viewing experience is at its peak. But I understand where you’re coming from, thats why i usually rewatch shows because knowing what will happen really changes the viewing experience.
50/50. With so much stuff and so many poor payouts or handling I take the risk of spoilers and such. Unless it something I know I'm never going to watch, read or play.
I personally think the reason why this anime is difrent is that the main charracter is in a moral grey area and some times even straight up doing some fucked up shit and it the side story is being the present or future or whatever is the pov of the usual stereotypical reincarnated hero fighting a demon lord seeing these people do these horrible things but these people doing horrible things are from the main story pov of kumoko and the thing is that at some point spilers we kinda think that these bad things are not just a necessary evil but actually good because mass murder and war will save the world for reasons
In the LN, Administrator D revealed that Kumoko (kumo = spider, ko = feminine) got a 6-month head-start on the other reincarnations, and in the chapter that Ronandt is relating, Buirimus notes that Hugo Baint von Renxandt was born around the same time as his daughter. Meaning that at least 6 months have passed since Kumoko's hatching. SPOILER I say 'at least 6 months' because two of the reincarnates were born into races that have much shorter pregnancies.
it is just f-ing stupid to show 2 shows in 1 anime. Basically the spider series and the human series with 15 years apart. It is so f-ing confusing to watch. Futhermore, the story of the humans is not in the manga/LN... WTF.... I hate it when they do that, much rather prefer they keep to the original story!
No lmao this was in the LN novel its a huge part of the story thats why i hate the manga the skiped the human parts its ment to confuse you and its gone give tell you a lot of stuf so i dont fet why the manga woud skip them
@@teamebrhane7222 uhm, NO... i just read the part at the end of this anime for the LN. Kumo is a goddess when she ran into "potimus", not an Arachne. "Potimus" was a woman at that time and certainly NOT a robot. The ending is all shit over here in the Anime. Manga as well though, since in there Kumo rescued the vampire child and took her with her as a spider. Not in the LN. The hero was abducted by Kumo, not seen in the anime or Manga. Translation for the LN was sucky at best though, very hard to read.
@@teamebrhane7222 well, was reading Overgeared when i posted the first time. After i was up to the end of translation, i started Kumo desu Ga and finally ended up at where the anime ended. So, that's why :)
It is true. You did not notice in episode 9, that it was mentioned that where they got the earth dragon egg was the same place they got the spider silk they got from a the spider nest to make into the scarf for the prince he is wearing, 15 years ago; which took place in episode 2 for our protagonist.
i have a question Why does hugo hate schlein He was friendly with him in the first episodes than all of a sudden he wants revenge can someone explain this to me
Well, the Admin did gave us a hint. He said that Wakaba was the first person to be born before the rest of his classmates. The teacher was the second person to reincarnated. Then after that are the students. Wakaba is now one of the 10th commander of the demon lord’s legion. He also killed one of the reincarnation who went bankers or crazy for being driver to think his a god of the world and he owns it. Wakaba is already dangerous as it is, so that’s why she is suitable to be a commander or one of the demon lords General.
She not dead by time she tells them that it before the end of episode 24 read manga you understand because not even teacher new she alive because though she died in battle with demanlord .didn't know about egg skill she has or that her soul and demanlords soul are one by time episode 24 comes to be
so your saying that the spider is actually her past and the white human form is the present and yiur also telling me that the earth dragon was fei and the scarf around shun's brother was her's and wakaba is also the savior of negishi aka master damn I got really confuse
Makes a lot more sense, I keep thinking that she was able to see the future or something along with the present wasn’t expecting that here story was in the past
Idk man, so your telling me that what we see on our spider side is 15 years apart from the other reincarnate student? And that white girl closing her eyes is our spider already evolve as a humanoid? And that OP vampire is that baby? Is that it?? Genius!
