I like it, but I'm way more drawn to kumoko's story. I like the other characters that basically orbit Shun more than him tho. Fei the dragon waifu and Katia the boy turned girl have way more interesting arcs than shun himself lol.

@@GoldenBeans To be fair, Shun's story is getting slightly more interesting as time goes on. I don't mind short tidbits of them every so often anymore. It helps that Fei and Katia are somewhat interesting, but Shun himself is...just so boring.

The items she receives lead to the next person. Anyways, she helps a man in the desert who turned out to be a king, and he said that she was a goddess who gave her blessings for him to conquer the world. It’s a surprisingly good read. I recommend it. Now if only I could remember the damn name...

I had my doubts about the show but it wasn't because of her being a spider it was more about the awkward CG monsters. CG in anime should be reserved for stuff like bagrounds. Maybe for robots too since they don't have to look organic.

There may still be an Earth dragon or two stronger too, but not getting too much into that. Kumoko is definitely high up but not top 3 yet.

Well, in the previous episode the Labyrinth guide for Shun's party mentioned the Nightmare of the Labyrinth appearing 10 years prior, and even then there were stories of her healing adventurers: attack the spider and you're wiped out, but behave yourself and possibly get healed.

@@Luke-ky5ed ive actually seen multiple species of spiders do that. i think it has to do with feeding the line out of their spinnerets as they travel downwards. Their rear legs are also built for that as well if you look at the image of a spider. BUT you dont need to take my word for it there are several videos on youtube about it as well as still images on google.

And it's farrr better than other Isekai where it's just focused in the main character. Here we get to see the MC have a direct impact on the religious, political and military organisations of the world. So many isekai give MCs OP powers but they never have an impact in the overall society of the world. Kumoko's story is so different where she can actually influence people with simply her presence

Even better is she has a personality of her own, it's not just random emotions forced ontu the character because the plot is having an emotional moment. It makes everything feel natural and genuine
