Time of Legends Joan of Arc Miniatures 15MM too small for D&D?

They say if I want, I could be anything, so I become a small custom statuette for a tabletop rpg.

I had looked at it when it was on sale, but decided i should paint what i first. I was thinking about using the small buildings to do a forced perspective trick in a diorama. Putting them behind a bit of trees would make them seem super far away with 28mm up front.

That one larger monster could be a baby Dragon Turtle. For the skeletons, could be a halfling/gnome village that was wiped out and brought back to life by a necromancer.

Halfling skellies! The wagons are all in good scale for halflings and gnomes, too. Nice find.

I have heard of people running rpgs using 15mm minis [which, when put up against 28mm monsters, can make for some EPIC encounters] and indeed as you mentioned there are manufacturers of both 15 mm minis and buildings [such as Alternate armies and ROC minis]

The scenery bits look pretty usable, but at the scale the miniatures we generally use are at (28-32mm) those lost millimeters are REALLY noticeable. Heck, if you use chibi Miniatures, the difference between 28mm and 32mm is pretty noticeable.

The unicorn makes me think of Uni from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. The skeletons definitely read as halfling or goblin skeletons. The carts and trees work pretty well. Overall not bad.

Don't forget that the tarrasque is originally French! And regarding the small unicorn, keep in mind that unicorns were originally imagined in ancient times and the middle ages as being fairly small, sometimes even being thought of as a goat or a donkey type of creature

I like them very much! the new D&D line of giant and dragon minic of D&D are extremely big and expensive, but there are options like the boardgame "Assault of the giants" (12 medium giants tehre) and there are lots of medium sized dragons that could be considered huge for 15MM. What one could do in D&D id to have a 15 MM conterpart mini to play a scenario (there 3 human 15 MM minis in "Assault of the giants" for example) . That way you can have the minis smaller and play bigger. Great video, this "Lengends Joan or Arc" looks like treasure.

I've been printing miniatures down to 15mm scale and crafting some smaller scale terrain. It works pretty well.

I dont know how but I somehow own that tarrasque miniature I always wondered where it was from and now I know

Maybe the heroes minis could be used for halflings

I like the Tarasque.

I bought the Joan Of Arc Dragon for about $35-40. It makes the wizkids adult chromatic & chrome dragons look like children. I avoided the core game because the scale for all the other minis is too small for my liking but their dragon on a similar discount is a MUST buy!

I passed on this sale, now I am regretting it curse you ! :p I considered 15mm for a travel set

If I had to start over I'd probably go with 15mm for my collection, just cheaper and easier to build out large dungeons

If you’re getting these for $22 why do I see them on sale for a $120+ when I search on Amazon. Where are you getting yours?

You dont get it, do the whole dnd thing in 15mm, dont try to mix, or use 28mm for your indoor encounters, and 15mm for you outdoor encounters. Your players would have both a 15mm and 28mm minature
