This is my arrangement of Another brick in the wall by Pink Floyd :) TAB: www.musicnotes.com/l/lGhXb Facebook / gabriellaquevedo9797 Instagram / gabriellaquevedo97 Website www.gabriellaquevedo.com/ Twitter / gabyquevedo
I've been teaching music privately for the past 32 years. Your music is fully complete. Your arrangements are completely functional and are performed with grace. Excellent job making music and making a living. Those 6.6k that are thumbs down probably can't play the radio let alone a musical instrument.
Bill Wentz I’ve been playing for quite a while myself. And I can say from experience that this girl is the FULL PACKAGE! And as young as she probably is, she’s probably going to get even better yet. And you’re right Bill... normally, the biggest critics are the ones who can’t even play with THEMSELVES, let alone play an instrument!! Critics be dammed!
As a professional fingerstyle guitar player for the past 40 years now, I can honestly say I have never heard anything "better" than this rendition of a classic tune. There are just no words to describe how powerful this instrumental version is. She has most certainly...got it all!
you've got to be kidding me, she's great, but she missed many key identifying parts in this song. You want to hear a real gem, check out kent nishimura's version of this song, that's the real deal. And he got so many less views cause he's not a pretty girl.
@Jonathan Bean No. I'm a lot more familiar with Tommy Emmanuelle but for me he needs to slow down a little. Same with tears for fears everybody wants to rule the world. I prefer Gabriella's version over Kent's there, too.
@@jaycollins9244 I agree with all you just said, Tommy is great but way to fast, and Gab's version of Everybody wants to rule the world was more melodic to me than Kents, however check out other songs from kent, he truly is unusually talented with how he executes every detail of the original song. Check out "hello" and "waiting for a girl like you" for ex. He is in a league of his own.
Gabriella, I've played since I was 7 years of age, and I'm now 58. You, my friend, are incredible!! I forward much of your playing to my brother who now lives a thousand miles away. We've both played guitar since we were kids. He agrees with my opinion. You are a cut above the rest.
@@Paul-be7yg soooo seemed life story dude....me and my brother.....the point is = IDENTIC OPINION BOTH WE TOOO !!!....this is incrédible i've never guessed 'll find a twin *but less a twin of my brother both ate the same time* it's likes to buy an all-in-one haha omg....case is EVEN the fact about being living IDENTICALL KIND OF DISTANCE thousand of miles away 've wrote identicall frase'n words as well describe owr situation now just a few week ago !!....AND = my name is ¡¡¡ Paul !!! haha = Paul Frederik.
Two of my all-time favorites; The Beatles and Pink Floyd... and you cover them both beautifully. A great tribute to the artists, and a great credit to yourself.
The ease with which Gabriella transitions between closed forefinger and thumb, flamenco influenced multi-finger strumming, finger picking and claw hammer influenced thumb and fingers is remarkable. Many serious guitar players would trade their right hand for hers if it did not involve the actual swapping of body parts. I also thank Gabriella for her generosity in sharing the TABS of her arrangements.
That sly smile, when you look up with that “I got this look” in your eyes, is precious. I absolutely love this stunning arrangement. Thanks a million for sharing.
I absolutely love the liberty you took with this arrangement Gabriella!.. . You are so much fun to watch when you crack that smile it brightens the room... 👏
Absolutely beautiful. I have played most of Floyd's albums solo for 40 years, on keyboards and guitar. I can't tell you how impressed I am with your pleasant, natural style. Bravo!
I have never seen on a RU-vid a better player. This was a breath of fresh air. A talented, humble young lady who is the opposite of some others who try to show off. Was a pleasure to watch and now I follow you! Keep it up and wish you all the success in the world.
Amazingly delicate at the start, a magical build up capturing the dark sarcasms in the classroom and then no teacher could teach what you played, seems to me.
Pink Floyd is outstanding. This is not. It is an unperfect copy. However I am very pleased to increase the traffic on her channel and her revenues from youtube because she deserves it. Many average people (the ones giving thumbs up) would depress and suicide without this kind of video. Emotional comments prove this, it is many people's purpose.
What a great time to be alive, 15 years ago I would have no way of knowing Gabriella even existed. Now this playlist is in my regular rotation, love it. What a talent.
Gabriella, I'm sorry that so many people don't recognize real talent when they hear it. This was an impressive performance by any measure. I hope you keep posting and are encouraged by the positive responses rather than the other way around.
David Balderston I don’t understand the communal disdain either. This young lady is immensely talented & her rendition of this PF song was breathtaking. It’s a damn shame that we live in a world with so much needless hatred!😡
Wow! Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands, and this is the only time that I've ever seen someone play Another Brick In The Wall as a guitar solo, and get it right! Nice job Gabriella!
This seriously some of the best work I've ever seen anybody do on a guitar. This is just amazing! Gabriella you are a phenomenal Talent. Every ear that listens to you is truly lucky. I'm just happy to be standing on this blue and green marble at the same time as you. This is awesome! Thank you for sharing your art!
Chuck Cochran I started 7 years after you did, and you chose exactly the right word - Humbled. I've watched it 4 times on RU-vid & a few more on other sites. That is pure talent & love of sharing it.
When I started listening to this version I didn't even know how much I was going to love it! Damn girl, you've got a groove going here like I haven't heard in a long time! Outstanding!!!
Next level skills indeed, haven't ever heard anything like that before!❤ One lady replacing the whole band? I thought it'd be impossible but boy was I wrong!❤
I'm Japanese . Probably same generation with your father. Before I sleep, I always listen your music starting from Yesterday, Stairway to Heaven, Show Must go on, Another brick in the wall, Hotel California, Bilie Jean every day. Thank you for your beautiful smile.
You hit it right on the head.i literally just discovered her today and have been sitting in my room for an hour already in the dark watching her videos totally captivated.
J'adore j'adore j'adore !!!!!
Technically she is very good, but I do not feel anything hearing this arrangement: it is "flat" as she was playing like a machine: no risk, no surprise.
Gabriella has become the best female guitarist in the world! And she has done that right in front of our eyes and ears right here on RU-vid! Congratulations and you go girl! Keep on working hard and you might become the best guitarist male or female! I love your playing very much. I listen to you every day. You're the best.
Gabriella makes it look deceptively simple. Was at a buddy's after she posted this a few years ago, Hadn't seen him for years. Barely knew his wife. She had friends there. One was a tough as nails old girlfriend of hers. There were about eight of us gathered around having a good time. I put on a concert of sorts as background music. Played this. Most weren't initially impressed, until the tough as nails one, a musician herself, said, "She is so good."
Those 2 % reflect the fraction of people with serious psychatric disorders so they are just part of the normal distribution with a nasty tail to the left - with that context it is even "normal". No brain doctor can fix those individuals.
An incredible arrangement. I loved the unique chord voicings. They captured the melody as well as the dissonant vibe of the song as a whole. In my opinion, Gabby is in a league of her own in both creativity and technique. What a pleasure to hear a new generation of guitar players go back to the temples of rock and re-imagine them, bringing them back to life again. It allows "mature" axemen and women to relive it all over again!!! Thank You Gabby!!!
Kilt it! You could tell when you relaxed and started getting lost in the music. So beautiful and natural. Wow. Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you were born with that guitar in your hand.
Monroe Truss instead of that, try this: listen to this song in the dark with good headphones and close your eyes. Go deep into the sound until you are immersed. Not thinking about stuff, not comparing. Just FEELING the grooves she leads you through. Let your body feel the cadences and emphases, and let yourself move to it in ways small or large, if you feel like it. You will start to notice that her own abilities start to download into your nervous system like a gift that is waiting there for you within her music. It can only be opened and received this way when in an immersed and receptive state like this, where judgment and analysis is absent. More centered in heart than mind. Since I started listening to her a few weeks ago my guitar skills not only accelerated greatly, but carried recognizable inflections of her style and skill-set. She plays with such metronomic precision, and that neural programming she gave me has been guiding my rhythmic skills. And one last thing is how I suddenly began to see and feel out the fretboard while improvising in a way I hadn’t expected, where the melodies I was hearing in my head would instantly know where to go on the fretboard. She has definitely influenced things like this greatly. So then Monroe, pick up that guitar and play the music you’ve always wanted to play, the way you want to play it! :)
