the Murcielago is still my favorite super car still today. i remember when i saw richard hammond used it in top gear then i wanted it. im still wanting it now
CP_Dubs And an additional problem is James would want a Manual, and there has only ever been 25 and some have been wrecked. So it's a true unicorn, probably gonna cost more than just 500-700k.
James, I know that car is amazing and I agree with you on that. But, that car already has a rear wing and side skirts and a front splitter so there isn’t much more to do with the car. If I were in your position as a content creator, I would wait for a roadster to come around without any aftermarket work done to it and mod the car myself. Also, the Black? I know you are probably going to wrap the car anyway but if you’re getting an old school V12 Lamborghini go all out and get an obnoxious color.
Absolutely! Black isn't that great on a Lamborghini, interior and exterior. It hides the lines. Get that Roadster! Manual if you can find it. Those will only go up in value + it fits better as a Lamborghini RU-vidr.
@@pbsh5271Exactly. Manuals are more desirable to passionate car people. But maybe owning one manual supercar is enough for now... J Straddy isn't a millionaire yet. It could be financial suicide for him if he's not very careful about his purchases...
Take ur time, and get exactly what you want! If you are questioning it, it is not the right deal. Also think about the maintenance bill on what you buy. The ultra rich don't have to worry, but you might. Great content though James
Jack Naylor the Murci SV had only 25 manuals in the US, some of them have been wrecked. But this is no Murci SV, this is a regular one. There's probably quite a few manuals.
true and I understand but, after about 5 seconds max, they should turn off! The car was idling for awhile and lights were on. Hey, it's an old car and man made, nothing's perfect...lol
I think you should definitely get a Murcielago! I am so happy that the Murcielago is getting it's well deserved attention this past month 😊 SOL and now yourself! I really don't like that wing though, makes it look a little cheap or when people make replicas 😂 get one 😊
Buy that car, it’s totally bad ass! Love the ground effects and the rear wing, it sets it apart. Interior is to die for also! Sometimes things just work out easy. DO IT!
Anthony Isabella Strad is one of the few RU-vidrs who still makes and edits videos on his own, so he makes great money because he doesn’t have to pay anyone else to edit.
A year later I am watching this, and right at the bottom where the suggested videos are is a video of yours titled "Why I didn't buy the Murcielago" I'm sad I played myself.
Strad, what happened to wanting a manual Murcielago? I thought that was your plan. The e-gear transmission just ruins the car. The lag between the shifts, etc...
TheShaddix because a manual one would cost the price of that murci, the 570s and hos gallardo if he sold them all. Manual murcis are going for half a mill these days and are hard to come by in comparison.
TheShaddix i feel like a murci would do a ton for his channel. He and paul would be the only youtubers with murci’s and it would be something weve never really seen a ton of content with. Maybe a few reviews, and a ton of vids revving around london, but thats it. However, everybodt and their mom is buyig a 570s these days. I feel like his channel is already growing so much because of the previous gen r8 and the gallardo since they are so rare in youtube vids and the murci would ony add to that in a new way
Maria Mendoza he also wants it to be sub 200,000$$. No way you can even get close to under 200,000$ for a manual. Manuals are going for closer to 300-500,000$
Oh Snap! Nice Murci but that wing is a little ricey... I think there are some nicer ones out there, but black is a great color to wrap... That wing is just a little too much..........
There is a point of keeping the Gallardo, you build a bond with your car and you can't just throw it away. Also it a manual so it has so much more sentimental value
I'm a coupe guy on account of being a track nerd. That said, I've heard (from an owner) that the canvas "roof" for the roadsters are a bag of dicks to deal with. If you're keeping the Gallardo for all seasons use and are comfortable using the Murci only on nice days, then whatever. If you'd like the option to use it when it "might" rain, then you might want the coupe. All of that is probably obvious but, in my defense, you did literally ask for it. :)
James, a manual Murcielago holds its value much better. Yes, Murcielago is a better collection car than others you suggested. Keep up with your videos. Love them!
