Welderup is the most badass idea and business ever. The best thing about Vegas. In a couple years when I retire I want to go work there so bad!! What an amazing experience that would be!!!! It’s such an epic place! It’s a working museum of badassery!!! I’d treat that place and everything in it like it was my own beloved creations!!!! That’s how awesome everything in there is! I grew up on a farm in the Midwest so we always fabricated anything we needed cause there wasn't anywhere close to buy shot and we couldn't afford it anyways . So it's burnt deep into my soul , lol . But thank you for sharing ur adventures because I really enjoy them . Oh and the " quit ur bitchin" saying/moto , is one my grandfather also shared with me . Crazy , but u gotta respect those old touch hard ass basterds for it . lmao It built they're personality and a little of ours too.

Hi David, Things here in Las Vegas are slowly started to open up. Come see the desert but avoid July and August. The heat is intense during the summer months but the rest of the year is my playground. I am a desert rat for sure!
Were actually trying to find me work out there so we can move out towards that way like Utah or Nevada I specialize in underground plumbing I grew up actually in a welding shop like u with my dad my mom left when i was a kid and i wouldnt go to school so i just went to work with my dad where he built trailers and curb Machines inside machines at a place called tiger manufacturing
I have been a fan/follower for what seems like a decade. I remember the first SEMA Ignited where you guys were doing burnouts. You, and the crew were walking around, and it seemed like no one knew who you were. Since then, we have met several times from the shop, to the track, and Barrett Jackson. Every time you have been super nice, and appreciative to have people want to talk to you. Just found the RU-vid, great job with it as well.

Another little fun fact is Ford allowed Dodge to use the Cummins (because Ford owned Cummins at the time) with the understanding Dodge could not produce crew cab trucks at that time.

I read another reason for more torque is that diesel fuel ignites all the way though the stroke. Speaking in milliseconds verses gas is more of a faster burn.

Omg....thank you so much for explaining how thos injectors work....I'm 65 and still a motor head....thinking about pulling my 400ci gas out and installing a diesel in my 48 Plymouth sedan....I'm scared as hell cuz I don't understand the diesel motor.....anyway thanks for sharing....im always intrigued !!!...🤘
The only reason I buy dodge or ram is Cummins and my big rig also has a Cummins. The new one is a X15 565hp 2050 torque 18 speed. You can't go wrong with Cummins. 🇺🇲 keep up the great content 👍.

Thanks, I've always been a gasoline engine guy and Diesels have always been a bit of a mystery to me. They are starting to become mainstream though and you have probably been at least a part of that.
Keeping simple is the Best, good old 12vavle. New trucks are way to complicated. The old stuff will be still running long after 2020 vehicles are scrapped.

I don’t know the Duramax is pretty damn nasty and the Fords can be made to last and make good power ! A Cummins 12 valve is a awesome mtr but bone stock the Duramax will destroy it . But I do agree the Cummins is cheaper to make more power and is extremely reliable ( it’s a true diesel in the fact that it doesn’t need a glow plug of any sort and really doesn’t have to have the block heater plugged in until it’s well into the 20 degree point and even then it will still start but may take longer to start and definitely is hard on the mtr ! The reason they make so much torque down low and are done so soon is because there long stroke and smaller pistons ( which isn’t a bad thing just not a quick rpm turner with out a little a little help to spool quickly ) where the Duramax is a short stroke big piston set up as is the newer Ford diesel which allows them to easily turn up and spool up faster and higher you loose tome torque down low but gain HP all the way across and it’s still making decent torque across ! That’s why we are seeing so many Duramax being put in drag cars recently that and Banks has a big hand in those mtrs ! I’ve seen multiple DMax powered Drag cars and trucks in the last 5 years it’s amazing! Anytime you can make just as much HP as torque with a diesel you know something was built right !! But I agree the Cummins is a beast !!!

Thanks for sharing, your vids are awesome, especially to us in the uk where you would be arrested if you drive anything like the D ROD on uk roads. You can't drive a car without the wheels covered, your wheels cannot stick out past the wings/fenders, you can't drive anything that smokes, blah blah blah. The things you build are pure fantasy to uk fans. Are you still on TV in th USA ? We miss your show so much here. The nearest we get to modding diesel in the UK is the Skoda Fabia VRS. 130 bhp standard, can be tuned to over 400 bhp in a small european hatch. We can only dream. Happy New Year.
