8:54 If you remember season 1 episode 23, The Master (Ubuyashiki) said that the first user of the original breathing technique lived in Sengoku Era in Japan (1477 - 1573) and actually in the story of Demon Slayer we are in Taisho Era (1912 - 1926). Tanjiro said all of his ancestors were charcoal maker since a long time ago not swordsman (that was written on his family tree). And all the family buried the dad. So that can't be him. And Tanjuro (Tanjiro's father) said that He promised to pass down the Hinokami Kagura (Sun Breathing) and the earrings to his son and that Tanjiro will do the same if he can (season 1 episode 19).

Yes, dear Senjuro, such a good kid. Love Rengoku’s little bro. Also, Muzan has a way of hiding himself among the humans that makes it hard for demon slayers to find him. Remember back in season 1 that woman and little girl were convinced he was a human? The woman saw him as her husband and the little girl called him daddy. And the next episode is so much fun! I understand you wondering if things would get weird, but I think you’ll enjoy the upcoming episodes.

“How does he know?” My speculation is that since Muzan is able to read the minds of his demons, maybe he just read Akaza’s mind.

This is S2 E1 The Entertainment District Arc! The movie Mugen Train Arc was a completely diffrent thing a movie so it wasn't counted as season 2!

Really love this episode! The extra length served it well to properly wrap up everything from mugen train while reintroducing our lovely cast and some new characters. I fully agree that this show nails the balance between taking itself seriously in honest emotional moments but also sprinkles in some humor without ridiculing everything it stands for. especially in anime they often miss that mark imo. Always gotta love the tanjiro and nezuko teamwork, it's so cool to see her getting more involved! She never was that stereotypical damsel in distress and I'm glad it shows in these epic fight scenes. There's too much to talk about and praise but I'll leave it here Thanks for the awesome reaction, super excited for the entertainment district which kinda just gets better with every episode.
