Sorry for the Mixed audio ! My wireless microphone stopped around halfway through and I wasn't aware. So when I came to edit the video I soon realized that some clips had sound and some didn't so I had to do a voiceover on my Imac!
In this video, you will see me Servicing my Rover 25, 1.4 K series called Michael Jackson that I bought from Senior Mustard - ( ‪@ProjectNigel‬ Pauls father)
This video is not a full guided tour on how you service a K series engine but will give you a rough guide.

Great video & well filmed, servicing not easiest to film. DIY servicing is very satisfying, you know it’s done properly with quality parts & you can do it at your convenience. MJ looking very clean underneath, was that after the rust proofing treatment.

Thanks Badbooks 😊 Really appreciate you watching my service video 🔧 And exactly DIY servicing is great fun and indeed confirms its done correctly and quality parts. 👌 MJ is definitely looking cleaner underneath, and yes, it was after his Wax oil treatment. 🙏 Did new brakes on him yesterday. New Calipers, Discs and pads. And he still needs second coat of wax oil. But I'm getting there. Take care!

Nicely done Joe, good Job indeed. I need to do the voice over thingy at some point.

Thanks, Simone, for watching my service video 😊🔧 The voice-over is really hard to do & watch the edit and say what you need to say. Rather do it on film tbh . But that didn't go to plan either with my MIC stopping at some point during the film 😬😩

Thanks, Skik, for watching my service video 🔧 Appreciate your support and tips. Regarding the "slower speed," do you mean me talking ? Or the time-lapse? Cheers mate 🙌

@@CarzwithJC_ Would of liked you talk slower,loved the detail in the information and I know I keep going on about ASMR but this could be a good contender had you taken a little more of a slower speed

@CarzwithJC_ 9 месяцев назад
@skik6313 Thanks Skik 😊 If you read the description, I had to record a voice-over on most of the clips due to my "Wireless Microphone" stopping throughout me filming servicing MJ 😞 🎙 So I was a bit annoyed by it and spoiled the whole video. 🙄 As originally, I spoke while doing the job and went through in great detail and most likely a lot slower than my quick voice-over over. Hope you understand. Have a good evening 🙌

Jeez Joe, did you buy a diesel ? 😂 that oil was blacker than space itself. Id complain to the seller 😂😂 . Nice video and explanation

The Oil always looks dark when it comes out after using an "Engine Flush". But generally, after it settled it was very clean. Just a shade darker. The oil was in the engine for about 3 - 4 K miles. So very clean but always good practice to change engine oil every 6 months or 3K miles. Which ever comes first. Thanks for watching my video mate. You take care and hopefully will see you in the next video 😃

@@CarzwithJC_Those oil change intervals were for the 1960s and 1970s with old fashioned engines and traditional mineral oil. Unless you’re just stuck in urban traffic doing short journeys every day then 12000 miles or once a year is fine for modern semi or fully synthetic oils. Also you should not have drained the oil with the front of the engine up in the air if the drain plug is in the front (like yours)… the sludge, old oil and flush solvent will be stuck at the back of the sump. At least roll it back down when it stops dripping and let the remainder drain out.
