Merry Christmas JJ! Love your videos. I've been watching a lot of guys and their travels and you're a great one so keep it up. I think these sort of videos do build a community of guys (and gals) so we can keep sane. We need something to keep us together along the way.
I first came across your channel be seeing EP. 10 Truck Camper Tour and subscribed after that. I have a 2023 Northern Lite 10.2 SE and have made a few modifications as well. I especially like your videos on the electrical/batteries and the fuel tanks.
Fantastic to have a dream and work to see that it comes true...so awesome!! May you truly have yourself a marvelously Merry Christmas and all the best that 2024 has to offer! Take great care...Bruce and Otis
I've never been up close and personal to a wooden train trestle bridge but have seen photos and now this video which really got into the foundation of it, would have been interesting to see how they accomplished such a structure with the lack of equipment that would be utilized today. As to the inside of the camper with the oh so pathetic type of materials they use for wall panelling, I know that matched type seam tape is used in RV's at the joins of the panel sections and I wonder if something like that would be the method to repair ( another words hide the best you can ) rips on that almost a wall paper type material they finish the paper thin walls with. Going to an RV dealer and I would guess Northern Lite is not the only one using that same color/texture of wall material and see if such a tape would match up and be the right method.
Hi Rich ya was thinking of getting a piece cut of 1/16 shiny black plastic. Will have to find someone that can do that for me. I have a feeling I’ll be going through a 4x8 sheet if I try myself! lol. Thanks for comment.
Happy Holidays Comrade. listen here, i hear you on the QC issues you mention, make a nice trim/face plate to go around /behind your added instruments, be creative from stainless, to balsam wood , one plate or do individuals. Hum one plate for all could get interesting with some creativity, regardless I wish you safe travels and the best of best of the holiday season .. cheers brother from NC, ps ....heading out in a hour or so in our Lance TC to surprise daughter for xmas morning down in Alabama. should be epic.
Merry Christmas JJ, don't worry even if you make videos less frequently. We'll be enjoying it. Your videos are the few that feature NL truck camper. We had lasting memory meeting you at Chi-chee-maun. Frank
Merry Christmas JJ. The kinsol trestle was rebuilt I believe 2009-2011. Do a little bit of research in your spare time. There was a Timelapse video of this trestle being rebuilt! Hopefully you’ll be able to find that video! Hope to run into you someday. Come out to lake cowichan and you can park on my Rv pad for a day or 2 or 3. We’re on the lake!
