yes she's a genuine person, consistent ang kwento, hindi nag stutter.. pero what I don't like about this interview is hind pa din nya inamin na noong panahon na yun ay hindi tlga sya marunong mag English.. sana inamin nya ang dahilan ng pag back out nya ay mapapahiya lng ulit sya, tapos sana sinabi nya kay Butch na ngyn she redeemed herself by going into training and joining the BPO..
Q&A can be learned, but good attitude is very hard to learn... even sa work there are times na mas oki ang attitude plus points na lang tlga ang skills.
Masyado kase tayo naka tingin sa standard na candidates kung ano sinasagot ni janina totoo yun at karapatan nya yun. Wag tayong judgemental. Nakaka tuwa sya. ❤

I actually appreciate how Butch interviews his guests. Very professional and the questions are quite relevant. Janina did well in this interview as well. You can tell that she has matured and improved in the way she communicates.
@@flpdesu9538 I'm not quite certain if you understand what provoke exactly means. Provoking is inciting anger, annoyance or irritation towards another person specifically in a rudimentary or crudely manner. The host was professional and maintained a friendly conversation even smiling while interviewing Janina. There was no tension involved if you watch the entirety of the episode.
Iba kasi nuon unlike ngayon kahit magaling sa Evening gown at swimsuit ligwak ka kung palpak ka sa Q and A, like Vicky Ruston halos korona nlng ng MIP ang kulang pero sumemplang sa Q and A.
Sa Pinas lang naman kasi talaga masyadong nangmamata kapag di ka fluent sa english, pwede naman talaga sana sya magcompete na tagalog nalang yun irecommend n sagot nya, yung iba ngang candidate may interpreter pa pero nananalo, nasa kanya kasi ang charming at confidence. Good to know despite ng nangyari sa kanyang bashing, naging successful sya at pinakita nya ngayon na kaya nya, nakapagBPO pa nga sya hehe. Naaaral naman kasi talaga, di naman kasi tlga lahat ippnganak na matalino, nsa sipag at tyaga lng yan!
Naging client namin dati si Ms Janina San Miguel last 2007 during Miss Zanorte bilang judge siya noon.sobrang bait at kwela niya.kaya siguro nagustuhan siya kase napaka down to earth at lokaret xa haha❤❤❤
She is a lovely woman , marami naman may crown, even Miss Universe pa nga from other countries, wala naman career after their pageant journey but Janina madiskarte sa buhay.

Ok lang yung nangyari noon at least nakakapagsalita ng english...Hindi big deal yung nagkakamali sa grammar...Mga ibang lahi nga wish nila makapag english...Pero talaga trying hard sila...but si Janina is a very brave person and honest

The pageant finally was decided to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Mabait at mukhang innocent si Janina kahit nanay na. Natutuwa ako sa kanya. Kaso, hindi ako natuwa sa kanya about na agree or approve sa kanya mga transwomen sa biological women pageant pero disagree s'ya sa mga babaeng may asawa or may anak. Don't get wrong, I love our LGBTQ people. Kaso, may sarili naman silang pageant din.
Medyo hindi masyadong pleasant ang pagbitaw niya ng mga sagot, although very sincere naman siya sa mga answers niya. Yung banat niya na "alam nyo na po yun ah, na interview nyo na ko di ba?'" Kayong dalawa ni Butch ang nakakaalam nun hindi yung mga viewers 'day.
Kasi masyadong over confident sumagot. Hindi kayang magpakumbaba. Wala namang masama sa ninenerbiyos, paulit ng tanong, mag Tagalog kung hindi marunong mag English. Although I’m sure Mabait siya, she needs to learn the art of humility.
Very strong contender sya noon. Hindi lang talaga sya nakapag comprehend in english. Sana nagtagalog na lang sya. Matalino si jenina at very confident. English lang talaga naging issue noon

Kaya pinagtawanan si Janina that time is because of her wrong grammar, diction and pronunciation at nag si sing-song kasi siya kung magsalita at tumawa pa while answering the question. She won because of the contest criteria back then which was 40% Swimsuit 40% Gown 10% Personality and 10% Q&A (in which she only got 3%). We could only wish that she would still have represented our country in the Ms. World pageant. Sayang lang 😮

Even if you have not watched this, Binibining Pilipinas pageant's criteria for judging have always been the same - Swimsuit - 40%, Evening Gown - 40%, Personality - 10%, Interview (Q and A) - 10%. Sa SW at Eg, sya ang panalo kasi sya nga Best in SW at Best in EG eh. Sa Personality, sure na mataas din sya. Sa Q and A lang sya di magaling at that time, pero sa averaging, sya pa rin pinakamataas ang score since mataas nga sya sa 3 criteria (walang pinagkaiba sa determining honors sa school na average ang ginagamit) The process too was simple in 2008, there will be Top 10 semifinalists who will all compete in all rounds of the competition: (1) Swimsuit, (2) Evening Gown, and (3) Interview. Hindi katulad sa ngayon na may iba ibang formats na ng selection ng semifinalists (all Top 15 will compete in SW, and the best 10 from this round will proceed to EG. The Top 10 will compete in EG and the Best 5 will compete in Interview and the Top 5 will compete in interview) Hindi ganito sa Binibini. Sa Binibini, all semifinalists will compete in all rounds at average ng scores from all rounds ang magdedetermine ng winners. Janina scored the highest among the Top 10 in all rounds, so she should have won the top crown which was at that time Bb. Pilipinas - World, fitting since Janina was only 17 years old so she was illegible to compete in MW as long as she would be 18 years old at the time of the MS world pageant. She was not eligible to compete for Miss Universe 2008 because the minimum age requirement for Miss Universe was 18. Kahit ako in 2008, I did not expect her to win, I did not even want her to win because of the Q and A, but now that I am old enough to understand the criteria and the process, I would have agreed she should have won.

She still sounds lost, like in 2008. Scoring doesn’t work the way she described it. Even the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, started in 2014, when Russia annexed Crimea. That was six years AFTER she was supposed to compete in Miss World. Kaloka.

Buti na lang hindi siya natulog mag represent ng bansa sa international pageant kasi the way siya mag salita at sumagot tungkol sa Bb. Pilipinas journey niya very self denial sa mga mali at kahinaan niya. Mas gusto ko si Herlene Budol kahit laking eskwa siya pero napaka smart niya. Alam niya paano sumagot with substance at honest siya sa mga sagot niya at hindi siya nahihiya aminin kung ano man ang kapuna-puna sa kanya.
