My son got his learners permit and drove the Durango for the first time today! It’s a 2003 Durango 4WD with a 4.7L V8. I bought her in 2007, right before he was conceived. I had a brand new 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (stretched 2 door) at the time that I didn’t think would be great for starting a family, and decided to trade up for this 4 door to start a family in. I knew he would get it one day and that day has finally arrived. He’s been working on it his entire life, so I tried to capture that in this video. He did great today and has a whole year to become an excellent driver before he gets his license. It’s very scary to imagine, but by then, he will be awesome.
