RHYTHM AND LEAD GUITAR PARTS FOR THE STONES' 1974 CLASSIC, "TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE". #micktaylor, #stones, #itsonlyrocknroll, #classicsongs, #classicrock,
I was a 10 year old kid in '74 when this was released, and I have been captivated by it every since. I think that this is Mick Taylor's best solo and probably my favorite Stones song of his. Actually I think that the Mick Taylor years were the Stones best period. There isn't many tutorials of this on RU-vid like some other Stones songs where its endless. I really like your version as well as the narration, great job!
Thank you for going "off piste" ⛷ and covering a lesser known but very important song in the Stones progression. Nice coverage of Mick's development, which of course wasn't valued enough by the Glimmer Twins.
I was born and it’s my fav Stones period , this is one of my fav stones songs and solos ,and I think you’re right about Mick finding his way, coming up with different melodies , thanks for the history and different approaches to play the song , I usually play the solo sliding up the fretboard one string stuff , linear as you mentioned , just how I feel it , great lesson 👍
