Perhaps practicing less self-reflection during times of expression could be beneficial. It requires effort to consciously minimize self-reflection, but this can significantly enhance your freedom of expression when it’s most crucial. While self-reflection is undoubtedly invaluable, there are moments when setting it aside can lead to more uninhibited expressions, as it prevents us from filtering our thoughts based on the image we project. Learning to recognize when to engage or disengage self-reflection can be extremely helpful.
This was veeeeery insightful, thank you!! Your comment made me really feel into this and realize that i do really filter myself still, as a residue defense mechanism from social anxiety. And just diving into expression is what i have done with this chanel for example but with this new project i really feel a block as it feels more serious.. 🫠 and thats the block hahaha!
