I learned a lot about fear as a soldier being shot at and shelled with artillery. I was able to overcome that fear by faith in God. Bravery does not mean that you’re not scared. It means that you do what scares you anyway. I also learned that man’s capacity for evil far outweighs man’s capacity for love. I know that’s awful but it’s true.
