Dread to think of the cost involved in doing this, goes to show how much effort gets put in

that's why the monaco circuit it's so iconic for f1 and tourism

Where possible everyone should go see. Even the week before. If you are a F1 maniac you have so much freedom to walk the track, wait the pitlane. McLaren had arrived the night I was down in Pits and their box was bare. Went back 12-13 hours later. They had pretty much built it and only thing left was putting the cabling for the links to put wall. Incredible demo of teamwork

Imagine if they did this race on the normal roads with traffic. "And Hamilton gets stuck at a red light! Bottas is now in 1st place but there seems to be a trailer blocking both lanes up ahead".

I am an American born and bred I have been to many stock car races i have been to an indy car races but before i shuffle off this mortal coil of ours i WOULD to go to the Monaco grand prix that place is absolutely breath taking

Thinking about the logistics of this hurts my head

no wonder the race couldn’t happen last year, makes you think if it will happen this year if the covid situation doesn’t improve much by march / april. so many people involved in setting up a 3 day event, f1 wouldn’t be same without it though

Just watched a ride along of the circuit during normal operation and traffic, which begged the question, where do they shove all the parked cars? Is there a mass city underground parking system for the not so billionaire residents?
