Gupta Ji (with respect), can you please make a video about how did you do your research, how did you start, how did you choose the topic and necessity of research during MBBS. 👨⚕🙂🙂
Dr prakash but i have heard that most of the people are telling as step 1 is hard and requires deep knowledge of clinical subjects too, so its ideal to give it after covering all 19 subjects of mbbs which will give us clarity in answering questions. Juat by knowing pre clinical subjects it difficult to crack every questions.
I will disagree. Most people who get good marks in Step 1 do it just after 2nd prof. Especially in AIIMS, people who scored in high 260/270 gave it in 7th sem while most who gave in internship got in 250s. Now considering Step 1 is pass fail it makes even more sense to get done wiTh it in 7th sem.
@@DrAditya2935 okayy sir thank you i got u. Sir I will be joining this year in mbbs first year. But i have heard that from 2024, indian colleges will not be ecfmg certified. What to do with that? After getting into collge i will get my ecfmg registration done this year before giving step 1?? Can i do that or to apply for ecfmg certfication we must give both the steps?
@@affanzafar5059 but someone lse was telling there is no such pre requisite or compulsion that steps exams must be given and passed too. So whatever your status may be as soon as you enter med school ur college need to get ecfmg certifed before 2024. The batches which will enter med school at 2024 or after 2024 will not be elegible.
@Aritra Chatterjee Untill now i only knew that we can't make ecfmg certificate before step2 but i have just read on quora that we can apply for ecfmg before , however i am unaware about the process .
Dr Prakash, is it true that Indian medical graduates would not be able to attempt USMLE after 2023? Apparently indian medical colleges don't have FMCG accreditation and it would take atleast a decade to get it. What are your thoughts about that?
Sir I heard that by 2024 students who graduated from ECFMG recognised medical colleges are only eligible to give USMLE so is it closing doors for IMG .can I still give USMLE in 2024 please make a video on this topic🙏🙏🙏🙏
Before 2024 you muat be in atleast 1 year of med school in india. As ecfmg registartion requires no pre requisite, go to site and get your college certified
Sir we would be grateful if you provide your valuable advice for improving CV as an IMG (maybe by making a video about it) since after pass fail criteria it would be of immense importance.
Sir for exams you say MCQ(s) are must can you please make video about the sources of MCQ(s) pratice for each subject in every year starting from 1st year.
Please tell about MCQ books to be solved , how to continue preparation for pg entrance exam with undergoing mbbs , i m in 3 rd proff , as how to start preparation .
What if a student coming to final year and decides to give it,but there are no guidelines available for NEXT (when it will be taken),what should he do?
Iam doing my mbbs from Russian University.I have a doubt that can i give USMLE without clearing next and internship in India ? Is it valid or i have to give next and do internship then go for USMLE ??
Hey! Since after 2015 india is no longer issuing NORI (no obligation to return to india) for doctors what impact would this have on us wishing to pursue a US medical residency now? Will this make getting j1 waiver jobs tougher or what?
Thankyou so much for this video!! Great content as usual. Is it really hard to get US visa, as i have heard that some students get stuck after clearing the step 1 and 2 due to visa issues. Can you please throw some light on it.Thanks.
Visa issues are best left to immigration attorneys or visa agents if one gets stuck. Getting business visa or J1 visa should not be troublesome for most people if using for a genuine reason.
dr prakash please read my msg....is this really that after 2024 indian student are not able to give usmle.....as due to WFME ACCREDITION ..whats this ..i cant get any info about this......should i drop prep for usmle....pls guide iwth this accredition and whats that is realyyy...........😩
Yes, it helps a lot. However it’s not a formula and there’s no guarantee of matching in competitive specialties even after that. The odds certainly increase but it never is 100%, even if you get say 30-40 publications.
@@aritrachatterjee9090 sir also told above and I also found someone who has done MS and DNB super speciality in India and done fellowship there and now practising there that's why I asked earlier I also used to think it is not done....
It’s possible but it’s quite hard. You will probably have to do quite a lot of research and even a prelim intern year. But it’s not uncommon to match in gen surg if you do the right things.
@@prajwalvs1659 prelim is a temporary PGY-1 spot after which you reapply. You can do observerships after finishing internship. In US, intern means PGY-1. Don’t confuse with intern in India
