You and your mother did really good at the food pantry. Can you ask your mother to share her recipe for the buffalo chicken that she makes with the chicken in the package? Thank you and bless you both.😇😊
You know what I made for my kids and I tonight? Homemade chicken noodle soup. Cooked it for several hours in the crockpot and made the house smell great. I thank god that I have been able to provide for my family yet another day. Sending prayers, peace and healing thoughts to one and all.
I usually dont use food banks to save money, I normally leave this for people who are struggling extremely..but its its good to educate people on what they can do, especially if that cant feed theirselves or their familly
I usually don't comment I'm just a little confused. Isn't this for people who Really need food and have nothing to eat? I feel like we should preserve it for the less fortunate that really need food but can't afford it. If I have food in my home I wouldn't want to go take from someone else that may have nothing or much less.
I agree. If you can afford to throw away food from a food bank?!?!?!!?!?!! I also know that you’re not supposed to bounce around to them. If a food bank finds out you’re hopping around to multiple banks, they won’t service you.
They throw food away at the food pantries all the time because they have so much left over.. It's a fact... How do you know how much food these people have? and different communities all do different things they don't all just whatever everyone else is doing... They even have other food pantries listed for the people there so their families are fed.. Just because someone may have some food in their house doesn't mean they have enough to make it until they are able to buy more.
@@trishbowers3768would you eat food from a food pantry that you thought might not be safe... That happens thing's get spoiled or are far to past the date to use too... I'd throw something out too if something else leaked on it and it didn't look safe. It happens.
@@trishbowers3768 depends on the local and state agencies. Our pantry here encourages a few to go to 2-3 other pantries. 3 of the 4 they recommend are for a specific school district. The 4th has multiple locations and you can go to any of their locations as they don't ask for address.
Thank you for this, it’s so important to regularize the food banks! I have been on both ends, volunteering and then falling on hard times unexpectedly and need this for my family. God bless all!❤
I only use the food pantries if I need to and I have it in years if everybody started going to the food pantry just so that they could save money on groceries instead of when they’re absolutely down and out and there’s not gonna be anything there for the families to have like zero money
Grew up in an Adventist church where my grandma and her good friend Lois (RIP Lois) started the soup kitchen and pantry . Me and my siblings would have to come with her every Sunday to the soup kitchen so she could hand things out and make bags of stuff . It was nice seeing how the community respected my grandma and even the kids/teens would see her on Saturday going to church and would stop her to hug or chit chat with her .
We go to a food pantry every week or so. Last time we got two huge bags of frozen meatballs. Nobody else in the house knew what to do with them. I made tacos several times, patties (meat pies) and chilli. We usually get bread, produce, canned goods and sometimes they have baked goods. It’s extremely helpful ❤❤❤ Got to be creative and use what you have. 💯
Anything can change in our lives in an instant. No matter how much you save or have in surplus can be wiped away fast. Sometimes the best credit is not enough.Hard times and struggle can happen. Life happenings such as bad health, losing a job or many other factors account for it.I have experienced some of it. May God continue to bless everyone.Bless the organizations that bless others God Bless your family and mom too. Take Care
I grew up in a Seventh Day Adventist church and my mom volunteers with the food bank every week in Virginia. Y’all took it back to the 80’s with that Goodt Government cheese. Thanks for sharing.
I think that it was very considerate of your mom too look out for you and Eli as well….. you’re exactly right times are very hard now. Thank god for the food pantry. Much love ❤️🥰🙏
Hello Tiona, Elijah, Mom. You did your, mother hair nice. That's good, your mom went to the food pantry. Food in very expensive. I remember that cheese. Some good grilled cheese sandwich, bake mac- cheese. ❤❤❤❤
I'd say there's at least a 100 dollars of groceries on the table and in the floor. Probably more than a that. I paid about 6 dollars for a pumpkin pie last thanksgiving smaller than the one she had. I'd say that food is closer to 150 dollars. Food pantry also give someone chance to try foods they might not normally pick but might like after all. Food pantry gave me 13 cabbages about 3 months ago. This time, they gave me 2 boxes of twisted bread stick. Inside it also had a bag of cinnamon powder.
Hi t and eli the foods pantry are amazing by helping the community and i like your mom hair it's so cute and you did awesome job, hope y'all are having a wonderful friday and stay safe out there ❤️🤗❤️🤗
Hi Thanks for sharing. Yes, moms haur is really nice. You did a good job. Love your spirit and good energy. May The Most High bless you and yours❤❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This is awesome to see and a blessing. The only time I have to go to a food bank is when we have hurricanes here in Texas. You tell them your family size and they come and place the food and drinks in your car.
When times was hard growing up we had to go to the food banks. It's nothing wrong with getting help when you are in need. As high as groceries are now and as hard as it is to even qualify for food stamps you have to do what you have to do to make sure your household has. God always provides too
Hey Tee I love you and Eli and have been a supporter for a real long time so please please don’t take this as shade or think I’m tryna be funny but I did see another person comment and say something about their faces. I’ve watched many other RU-vidrs as well and they do also blur other people’s faces if they just so happen to be in the video I think maybe it’s a respect thing but someone else commented and said that there was someone running from their ex and asked to please blur their face. Just saying, maybe that’s why the other person may have said what they said it was just very rude the way they came off and said it to you. But I love you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for making this video ! After watching I felt the courage to go to our local pantry and get the help we needed. I never went as a child, so I was scared of it for some reason. It was nothing to worry about and it actually helped us a lot ! I've been watching you since you were homeless, and you have no idea how much your videos help people! Ignore the haters, and stay blessed!🤍
I’m in Public place I can record what I want yall people find an issue with anything. Yall act like my true intentions were to record them. Please I’m minding my business sharing my life. There’s nothing wrong with getting food at a food bank so furthermore nobody should be or feel ashamed and if you do then lord help you with that pride.
I stand by what I said... you didn't have to show their faces, like you said you're minding your business and so are they..just bc something is "legal " doesn't make it right..
❤😢With the cost of living, food, and gas prices going up and up ⬆️ it’s most definitely scary times for the majority of the world 🌎 right now. Praying 🙏 for us ALL! ❤ Thanks 🙏 for sharing T! 😊
Going to a food bank doesn't always mean you're "struggling" some people just like the extra help and not everyone likes dropping hundreds of dollars EVERY food haul
I think they mean some people are not in a good place and could be struggling at that time in their life. Some of those people may not feel comfortable being on camera in this situation. Its just being considerate of those. Maybe you can blurr their faces. @tionajaielijahking3059
I love goin to the food banks this how me and my dad be and yes things are really high out here but stay strong god bless u and ur family ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
The food pantry in my area is the only one we can go to they assign the counties to a certain one., There are no weekly here it's once a month and just one pantry.. They only give basics like bread milk eggs flour etc... It's not much but it does help. I wish we did have the pantries around here like the one's I watch here on RU-vid.. Ours is nothing like that not even close. I am really glad we do have what we do here though.... Thank you for sharing, God bless your home and family always stay safe and well. ❤
I been visiting local food pantries, since 2006. When I was pregnant, with my now 17 years old daughter. And we both still goes, and gather items. For the householf. I am glad she made this videos, cause the world needs to see. Not everyone, can purchase groceries like everyday people, who does have the means.
Cute kid. Good haul. I hit the pantries every week. I live off that stuff, but I try to take it easy on the snacks. Mom is right about that salmon. Good stuff.
Awesome haul. Food banks are there to help people, so people need to use them. Don't let that good food end up in the garbage. God bless you and your family! ♥
I go on occasion to the food bank then to the grocery store after. My food bank only has milk, eggs, peanut butter, canned veggies and a few fresh vegetables. occasionally i get a pound of meat. Im grateful for the few items i get.
😊😊😊😊HEY YA'LL 😊😊😊 This was a good video for people who may be struggling and are low on money to buy groceries. It's not about savings money 😒 its not having enough. God bless whomsoever needs to know there is help.😊
