I just heard this song in 2021 on the 80’s OLDIES radio channel. I never heard it back in the 1980’s. Funny how EVERYBODY has some songs they some how missed and are hearing for the first time. This is one of those for me.
this text is always current. I have always wondered if "Michael" was the King of pop. The only inimitable 🌻2024 We are still stuck in that trash of the 80s and 90s Tabloids🫤 Thank you for this beautiful song. It reminds me of my 16 years 😊🌈☮️
I was listening to "walk this way" and this song on my purple radio that had 2 cassette decks and a gray strap to carry it. Not old enough to be going to clubs in 1986. Find musical memories
Late 70s baby. Omg. I loved this song and still do... man such a freaking great song! This will never get old! Idc what anyone says! #much love #timex group
i may not be an 80's child, but i freaking LOVE the songs!! this is one of my favorites. my dad is always showing me new songs he used to listen to. my ipod is FILLED with 80s songs
Well somebody who rejects the mainstream today. 👏 well done and it is a shame you was not born back then when life was still hard but a lot simpler. People took in what was around them instead of the slavemaster in their hand. No wonder there is so much depression and anxiety today. Not looking good for the next few decades when these people make the decisions for the rest of humanity.
This song is straight up FUNK.....freaking dig that funky ass bass...i never tire of this song,,it makes me wanna dance without hesitation...Not to mention my pet peeve is people talkin shit about the people they know...
Oh my god I haven't heard this song since I was a kid. It had to be almost 30 years ago. I can't remember when it came out but DAM it was a long time ago. Brought back some great memoirs. :D
"I got 5 on It" by Luniz covers music and lyrics of "Why You Treat Me So Bad" by Club Nouveau, an R&B group that formed after the demise of Timex Social Club.
It's been a while. Nice song; good message for an age that can easily pass rumors with the use of today's technology. Rumors decay the soul of those who are vessels of it.
oh my God so long ago.but still unforgotten.God bless you guys.wonderfull and genius number.he got so much right with this song and still nothing changed till today youre still surrounded by Rumours.brings memorys back.thanks for upload.
Club Nouveaud had plenty of hits, at least on the R&B charts, with "Jealousy", "Situation #9", "Why You Treat Me So Bad", "Envious", and so forth. One of the lead singers of Club Nouveau, Samuelle was a one hit wonder with "So You Like What You See."
It's interesting, and gets you thinking about the rumours you yourself have spread, when the congressman points the gun to the camera so it's facing the viewer.
erano le 2.30 di notte quando ascoltavo con le cuffie questa canzone, come guardia, al deposito di carburante del 114 BTG tricesimo di Udine nel Febbraio 1986........
This song is from a different time,a different era,a different mindset. The message in the song was meant to convey a personal struggle or fight against negativity. This group actually split up and became Club Nouveau.Bobby Brown even sang about people talking bad about him in the song, "My Prerogative". Totally different time back then compared to today and not just in music.
it's like more than 25years i guess but still love it,it was originally out in 1986 which is like 26years now.i still love this old school hip hop.I would cry to god to bring back that lovely 80's & 90's back if he asked me what do i want.
wow its the first time i have seen the actual video to this all time classic song that me and my cousin use to listen to back in the 90's in his dads ford cortina
Großartiger Song damals wie Heute und das Thema " Rumors " zu deutsch Gerüchte passt mal wieder gut in die Zeit. Damals war ich 22 Jahre jung, wo ist die Zeig geblieben? Great Song then and now and the topic "Rumors" in German " Gerüchte" fits the times well. I was 22 years old back then, where did the clue go?
weird! i was playing this in underground nightclubs for months before it became a hit. could never understand why the record company held it back. still got the white promo somewhere
This was the jam then.....it's the jam NOW! We need this stuff to come back SERIOUSLY! I dont even listent o the radio anymore b/c of all the garbage thats being played. Just no more originality..
