Welcome and thank you for visiting my country. Credit card is only accepted in few supermarkets in Dili. The government and the financial institutions should figure it out instead of repeating saying that the country is still new and it's ok. The country is 20 years old now, and born in modern era, so should adjust along with the technology and the new financial system. By the way, what's your name? Once again, thank you for promoting Timor-Leste in your youtube channel.
Dont see from the Infrastructura development you judge Timor Leste is poorest In Asia, if you ordinary people in south east Asia you are not effort to visit Timor Leste because life is expensive in Timor Leste with USD Dollar,.Timorese People have money but they spend the money for change their life but they use for the cultural ceremory, visit Timor Leste first before you believe those report from international,.The big problem is cash money like she experienced in Timor Leste so all transaction in economy never been recorded, how you make a report without data from cash flow in financial institutions like banks and other,.so i never trust those report from World bank and other international agency, they just inveting because they never use real data to make their report,.i was in the bank an normal adult women looks not well dress but i was surpriced with the money she deposit in USD, that maybe my annual wages in UK, i live In UK compare my wage to you ASEAN maybe 20 times different...Timorese people they are so humble and they are so low profile they are never show if they have money because no one care if you have millions dollars its not big, they do what makes them happy not just because of money..visit Timor Leste before make your judgement

IT'S VERY POOR AND IRONIC THAT THE COUNTRY OF TIMOR LESTE, WHICH HAS JUST BEEN INDEPENDENT, HAS BECOME THE POOREST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, Greetings from Sabah 🇲🇾
I always thought Madagascar had the shortest people on average. That’s a tough statistic to gain accurate information on I would be interested to see how they came to that conclusion.
