Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create these beautiful and gorgeous pieces from can lids. I think they’re all very cute and adorable too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Oh Lisa they are really precious. I love all of them. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed weekend and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. ❤❤❤
Oh Lisa, I am so pleased to see you make these ornaments. Ironically I have saved so many of my can lids also. My daughter bought me one of those can openers because of strength and arthritis issues. Being I'm so conscious of recycling and up cycling and a crafter as well I have so many things that I guess other people would call weird to save. I love the snowman and hat using the lids and the can itself. I save old Christmas cards too and get old ones from my senior center. I've spent time just cutting them up and i keep all sorts of images in an envelope for crafts. I don't have a printer so this works for me. I love the doilie in the ornament with the bird. I thrifted some glass ones and I wonder if they can be painted. They look so plain. Anyway thank you so much for this video as it helped me to now have something to do with all those lids I've been saving.
Miss. Lisa I've been watching your videos for awhile now on account of your beautiful style,, and you have the sweetest comforting voice when you explain. Like a cup of hot cocoa, 🔥 Its one of the sweet spots in my week to watch thank you for sharing your hard work. God Bless you and household 🙏
I love the bird and lace ornament. I just love wildlife, so that one has my heart❤ All the ornaments are so sweet and adorable. Thank you for your inspiration, lovely as usual. Happy Day. OH and typos happen 😊
Hi Lisa, these are beautiful. I love the snowman and the hat, he’s so cute and the dark frame looks awesome, it looks great with the dark paint and the gold or whatever it was on the top looks so good. The last one with the bird looks pretty beautiful as well, the tassel just finished it off. I always love what you do though. I can’t pick a favourite, it’s too hard. TFS, god bless my friend and have a great weekend.
Love all four of these ornaments. They are awesome. I like the hat. It's really nice. I think a shorter can like the small olive can would make a nice hat too !!
Lovely little ornaments! I have been saving my lids lately to make some ornaments. Great minds think alike. Lol.. And also been saving K cups as well. So, I’m going to have lots of little gadget’s to make some ornaments.
You can use Ball Canning Jar lids to make snowmen, but the same size lid rounds would make One big fat snowman. I threw away a whole box of empty cans I had washed and saved up for a craft the other day. My son came in complaining about all my craft supplies every where and calling me a hoarder. That just upset me so much. I was saving things so I could craft whatever I felt like it. I have been suffering from severe depression since my husband passed away five years ago. Life life was turned upside down when he died in front of me in the ER from a massive heart attack and they could not revive him after working on him for one hour. The standard time to do CPR and give medication and shocks. No cardiac rhythm returned after all the did. My mother-in-law had just passed away six months prior and now, my son and I had to start caring for my father-in-law. That was not a problem. I was just in so much grief. My brother-in-law was useless. He was a drug addict and he stole money and vehicles from his parents and we were constantly get the sheriff’s department to issue BOLO’s and cancelling debit cards. My FIL died two years later six months after his son got out of prison and told my son and I to leave the house he would care for his father. After the funeral, we checked the med planner. Some meds were not given right, heart meds skipped. Blood thinner had too many, and too high of a dose. His sister, Aunt to me, wanted to call the cops, but it should have been done before he was embalmed. We missed out on that.
I am so very sorry to hear of all your loss! I can’t imagine and I will pray for you and your family. I hope that you are relying on God for your comfort and that you continue doing the things you love to help you heal❤️
Thank you so much for great ways to recycle my cans and lids. I have a can opener that pulls the lids off without leaving sharp edges. I love these ideas!
Your attention to detail makes your creations really pop! I had saved several lids and was looking four ornament ideas! I’m also hoping you have ideas for peat pots because I was so inspired by your spring decor items made fro peat pots that I bought bunches and now have several left. Christmas bells?
Love these!! i don’t quite understand how you rethreaded the 2nd snowman. Can you explain a little more? ❤. THANK YOU for being so generous with your ideas and sharing your talents❤️
Hi Lisa....I have my Grandma's old hand can opener...which means sharp edges! What kind of opener does your Sister have?? Love these and would love to make them for the holidays!! ❤❤❤ Thanks!
Lisa, is it hard to get paint to adhere to can lids and cans? You make the most gorgeous things. You’re extremely talented. It’s a little early, but Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 to you and your family! God bless
I just drilled a hole in the bottom of the top lid, in the top and bottom of the second lid, and in the top of the third lid. Then I overlap the holes and threaded the twine through and tied off in the back. I hope that is helpful.
*Just going to watch and noticed on your TITLE you spelled Tin Can "Tim Can" - NOT being critical, my sweet friend Lisa. Telling you because I am sure you didn't notice and you will want to correct it. 😉 Now, on to watching your video. 😁*
Does anyone know what causes Dixie bell paint to dry up? I opened a new jar and it was mucky…..I tried to stir it and it is really messed up…..BRAND NEW and I am really disappointed
