New found respect for Conan. I recently have been watching all of Tina Fey’s interviews and noticing how men interviewers treat women on their shows, it’s subtle but it’s condescending. But Conan let her talk, he didn’t put her down and he treated her like any other male guest. Honestly this is great! And he didn’t belittle her in a “joking” way. Thanks Conan! I didn’t really watch your show before but I will now! The only late night show I ever watched was Jimmy Fallon cuz he’s sweet to all humans, but this interview made me happy :) You just let her be herself and you actually listened 👌
Great observation, I have become a really big Tina fan over the last year and I stopped watching her interviews after a couple because of what you described. The interviewers so often interrupt her when she’s being funny like they feel the have something better to say but dont. It’s basic interviewing skills to let the guest shine and support them. It’s never been something that I’ve noticed before but it bothered me multiple times with different interviewers with Tina. Conan did a great job here.
Don’t forget Leno. I used to be a huge fan, even read his autobiography… after the Conan debacle I haven’t even watched a single Leno vid and cringe extra hard if I see him pop up in random videos…. Ughhhh And WTF Cody?!
I saw Morgan's Daughter in a theater and I was practically in tears and coughing up hair balls through the entire movie. It's better than Gone With The Wind. I named my children after the characters Whiskers and Toonces.
Side Note: In Romania Fey means gay robot. And also In Romania Conan means metal probe used in doctors offices. So, Conan and Tina in Romania are considered serious perverts.
@@Pyrethryn He must've assumed both that the title was in M/D/Y, and that the phrase 9-11 is in D/M/Y format. So he thought that 9-11 means 9th of november I guess.
