Herman Li (Dragonforce’s lead guitarist) only saw this cover last year and was stunned. In this reaction, apart from exposing how humble and a great human being he is, he said a few things : 1/ After hearing the first part of the solo: "Oh sh..t. I didn't know how good she played that solo. Wow, okay. I am gonna watch that again for one second. (wait a minute) x 3." then he replay a bit and continue watching it until the end of the solo with a stunned face. After the solo part: "Oh f…, sh... Well she killed it. Pfff. Damn! Okay. People say in the chat this is the best cover for "The fire and flames". I guess maybe it really is now. It happened a long time ago but I haven't looked at this. I saw it once back in 2015 but I did not have paid attention. I said Oh cool another person covered For the Fire and Flames. But sh..! (…) I know who to call if I decide to stop playing this song. (..) I thought that was sick! Brutal! (..) and she was chewin gum at the same time. Just to show I'm a badass and look cool. That was an insane cover." 2/ Question from the chat: "What else could she improve on?". His response: "Am I even qualfiied to say anything like that? Probably not. " 3/ "Does she miss emotions? Everyone show emotions in different ways. I can definitely feel emotions in the way she plays the notes." 4/ "She used Guitar Hero tracks for the song’s background and she learned from it, but the way it is made, there is one track for the drum, one for the bass, and only ONE for the guitar. In our Dragonforce band and in this song, in addition to the bass, there are 2 guitarists, a lead guitar and a rythm guitar, and when I recorded the tracks for Guitar Hero I merged Sam's track and mine into a single one and uploaded it as the single guitar track. There is no way for her to distinguish and isolate one from the other. So she is playing here Sam's track and my track altogether, combined. Using an harmonizer." Final words of mine to say that she is a natural, talented enough to cover masterpieces from different legends, capturing their unique style, skills and technics, and even sometimes adding on top her little personal spin. This was praised and saluted by most of these legends (EVH, Pink Floyd, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, ….) But she also had a very good guitar teacher, who guided her to the right skills and technics: Renaud-Louis Servais, who was the teacher of so many great young guitarists, including Daniela Villareal (Tje Warning)

She played both guitars of the original one in this take. The original is amazing....

Thanks for checking out Tina. She posted 20 videos and then vanished, but those 20 videos have made her a legend.

I knew you would be amazed, she was 15 yo when she recorded this. This is close from the original but not a perfect match for a good reason: she plays both the lead guitarist (Herman Li) and the rythmn guitarist (Sam Totman) parts, combining these. There are 2 guitarists to do the job in Dragonforce and she covers it alone. I will post another comment with details on the reaction that Herman Li made on this cover by Tina last year. She has even better covers: - in terms of speed and pure virtuosity, check her cover of Beethoven moonlight Sonata 3rd movement (translated for guitar by Dr Viossy) : she is purely insane - in terms of feeling and interpretation, (still some amazing virtuosity), please react to her covers of Jason Becker’s Altitudes and Steve Vai’For the love of god. Both paid tribute to Tina’s rendition.

You ain't the only one that shakes your head the first time seeing Tina play. You mention "original one" several times. Look. She's playing the parts of not only Herman (lead) but Sam as well. She's playing BOTH parts. yep she IS the guitar GOD on this rock and I don't care WHO you watch playing this thing you just watched the pinnacle of guitar play there ain't NOBODY quite in her league. Not only that her style is really an unknown. At this stage she is still "finding herself". Her own niche. And you wanna know why? Because she does covers of the greatest guitar players that ever lived and she pretty much matches up to THEIR persona of play. She can mimic ANYBODY, in other words. And to do that you're playing GOD. Yeah she does put her own spin on some segments. But listen to her play a completely different type of sound from Dragon Force with Gary Moore's "The Loner". I could not tell the difference. The way she bends those strings and handles the wammy it sounds just like Gary rising from the dead! I surely wish Gary was still around to hear & watch this girl he would most certainly be blown away just like you were here.

From what I understand, Tina is actually playing two guitar parts combined. And, covers don't have to be exact like original. Covers are supposed to shown some personal creativity.

Yes she changes lots. But that's not a bad on her part. The original has two guitar player and she took the hardest part from both musians and crammed it into something one person could play as a solo project. It's brilliant in its own right.

Very inspirational playing. When I feel a little bit down I feel that especially this cover by Tina is very good choice to cheer you a little bit up! All of her covers are very, very good though. She changed something indeed, she played both solo guitars of the original one at the same time. The right hand is not from this planet. If you are not a musician yourself it's easy to appreciate just the left hand work but her right hand is totally unbelievable.

@Giacomo James It doesn't have to be exactly the same as the original to be a good cover. She did better than the original!

I echo everything @Eric Sicard said especially about her covers of For The Love of God and Altitudes. Not sure if you noticed but she's chewing gum throughout this video. You should check out Herman Li's (lead guitarist for Dragon Force) reaction to this video. I look forward to more reactions on Tina. Some quick info on Tina: From France. Trained classical guitar from ages 6-13 then switched to electric. As she gets older she starts adding her own style to the covers. Rarely looks at the fretboard. Makes everything look easy. Disappeared from social media, RU-vid, and the internet at age 18 after releasing her last cover (Beethoven).

The playing is pretty basic (minus the super-magna skills...........) Tina took the riffs from the GuitHero3 and removed the guitar tracks, and inserted her own. There ya'go. Innovative?? YES!! Original?? Also - YES!!!!
