И все мы там были лучшими, когда смотрели ну эту ее гриву и фантастические по красоте ноги, едва прикрытые блескучим мини, когда слышали этот ее рев тигрицы, совершенно безупречный по вокалу. А разве можно забыть ее кошачью грацию в каждом жесте, в каждом движении, в каждом изгибе тела. Она была самой свободной из всех звёзд ее поколения! Даже когда она пела про Dancer for money, каковой наверняка всегда себя ощущала. Отсюда и ее неутолимая тоска, похожая на ту, которую легко распознать в глазах какой-нибудь немолодой Нью-Йоркской официантки или усталой приемщицы в химчистке. Тина все про этих женщин знала. Она сама была из них. Только у неё был голос. И отвага так петь, танцевать и прокричать на весь мир «Simply the best».
I love this. I keep returning to it. I love how she shakes hands with each of her backup singers as they come on stage. Telling us how much she appreciates and values them. And I love her dress in this! What a beautiful song, so warm.

I've always came across a few of Tina Turner songs like what's love got to do with or I don't want to fight no more. That's really was the main two that the USA played over the radio. But I never realized what a great singer and person she was until after she passed. She seem like she was so kind to everyone even if you was just a regular person and not a celebrity like her
Such a sassy lady I can’t say enough good things about her. Kind and very reserved. If I met her I would faint. She so kind and real! I saw her in Memphis in May 1996 Farewell Tour. It took my breath away! 🌹💯❤️🌟👋🏼🌟A bright shining star. Lyrics with meaning!
Just discovered this recently and got on a bit of a Tina kick lately. What a great & humble lady she was! This song should be a bigger hit and she does it so well here, It's also is like a gospel song!

Lovely song. Tina always had the most accomplished dancers, musicians & backup singers on stage with her! It’s hard to comprehend her passing, but her music will live on, thankfully. She will long be remembered as the Queen of Rock’n’Roll. ❤️

Tina’s mother had just passed. Ike Turner attended the funeral and in effect causing Tina not to attend. Tina felt there would be a scene caused by him if she attended and did not attend out of respect of her mother. Very sad. Ike should not have gone knowing the tension and awkwardness. If he wanted to pay his respects (because he was close to Tina’s mother) he should’ve sent some flowers and reached out to Alline (Tina’s sister).
