What's amazing is that, if I'm not mistaken, the last performance in this video was in 2009, when Tina was 70 (born in 1939) during her 50th Anniversary Tour. She was one of a kind!

Outstanding compilation. "Your mommy's a rock star!" It's sad that Tina Turner passed. It feels like we're losing a bunch of excellent performers to time here recently. On the other hand, she left us a lot of good music. (By the way, how did the Voice Holland score a live performance? Oh, that's not the Voice. Did the Voice Holland manage to get many megastars? I remember seeing Adele perform for them.) Thanks for posting this.

This was a great tribute to a great talent who passed this week. A beautiful flow to the placement of the singers and styles...the first three with the grit, sass and emulation of her inimitable style...and then select versions of her many signature songs. From Kelly Clarkson to the Voice Kids Ukraine, can the selection be any wider? But the last song by Tina was so well chosen, showing not only her most mature voice but how to put on a show...many thanks for this pureemotion showcase!
