I love how all these unreleased clips and footages of Tina Turner are now uploading. The footage is very clear too and hasn’t degraded from years of playback. RIP Tina Turner 💕
She was greatest female singer in rock genre. She with stood a wife beating man, drugs, celebrity stars,. But really found her way after she divorced him. Rest in that Heavenly realm Ms Tina. 🎶🎶 true Legend.
What a voice! CRAZY IN THE NIGHT’S lyrics fit a lot of our lives, even today. 🔥 That Hammond B3 sounds so good on TAKE A LIL PAIN…we didn’t know that in 1981 that she would go on the conquer the world many times over. RIP T I N A !!! 🔥 ❤ PS-Kenny Moore on piano and killing background vocals is 💯 RIP.
That makes sense. She did have beautiful legs. She was one of two lady singers I knew of that could wear stilettos. The other was the late great Miss Celia Cruz, a Cuban singer who would say "Azúcar", which means sugar. I think she really meant sweet.
Anna Mae Bullock has moved on to a higher ground. But Tina Turner lives forever in music, dance and in our hearts and memories. She was our friend when we needed her, and in her we will find ways to celebrate her life and to heal our broken hearts.
Another legend gone and truly a loss. Our music of which I consider the 70's, 80's and some 90's was the best years for music by far, and not to be repeated anytime soon now that corporations have screwed it up. RIP Tina God Bless and thanks for the sounds and songs. 😢🤟🙏
I like Country Rock and there is a DTV channel for that. I recorded it and every song sounded alike because of corporations controlling what and how a song is sang.
Miss ya Tina its been just a few hours pass that you have passed away and the Earth feels empty without you...its a very sad day on earth without you and will be sad that your not here with us....bye Tina no one can move like you !
Thanks for posting this I can't wait to watch it. I just posted on Twitter that back in the early 1960s my mom used to go to a nightclub owned by Bob Eubanks in Long Beach California called the cinnamon cinder and Ike and Tina Turner used to perform there all the time. And my mom told me a lot of stories about that place she even went dancing when she was pregnant with me lol because she barely showed when she was pregnant 😅
@@FiveGunsWest one of my older friends who passed away not long ago told me that he used to sneak into the cinnamon cinder with some of his friends I guess that place was a pretty big deal back in the day. My mom told me that one night her and her girlfriends were there and a bunch of the Dodgers baseball team came in and they all got to dance with the Dodgers baseball players
She was all for her career, never was part of any controversies or derogative comments on any of her artist and always give her best in the way she dressed to her public, very professional and passionate entertainer
Yes...RIP Tina. Awesome performer. Also think its worthwhile to note that the song "crazy in the night" was written by Garth Porter and originally performed by the Sherbs on their first album under that name in 1980. Its a nice audio comparison. I love both versions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-40fPz69PnSo.html
I take it that was the Tonight Show Band providing the musical accompaniment? Very good, especially considering they probably didn't have a lot of rehearsals. Who's playing the guitar solo on "Crazy in the Night"? Anybody know?
First, thanks for the share. I thought I'd seen every YT live clip but no! here's one I never saw. Hmmm. These song choices...? Curious at best, head-shaking at worst. It's tough for me to ever write 'worst' re anything T does as I adore her utterly. But this was *odd*. Just my view. Gave it 150%, no question, but still.
