Rock legend Tina Turner didn't disappoint her fans last night, appearing with Oprah and husband Erwin Bach at the Premiere of TINA, THE Musical on Broadway, and looking stunning in a golden Giorgio Armani gown. The Queen of Rock delivered an emotional speech in front of a mesmerized audience telling everybody 'how proud' she is to see her life coming to Broadway.

I just saw the musical and overall it was amazing. I think Tina is the best performer that ever graced a stage. She truly is unmatched in her talent and energy. May your next 80 years be wonderful!!

I have loved Tina for over 50 years. I remember as a teenager seeing her with Ike in 1966. She blew this 14 year old little white boy away! I have loved her ever since and have attended multiple concerts after she split from Ike. Truly the queen of rock 'n' roll and simply the best!

I grew up in St. Louis the same time as Tina Turner. I even baby sat for the owner of the nightclub where she and Ike played in St. Louis. On Saturday nights we could hear Ike and Turner on the radio doing their show across the Mississippi in East St. Louis. I remember the night she noted how loud the audience was and said with great class "We will still be doing a great show for you." At the same time she was being a wife and mother who gave her children the closest attention. I think everyone knew it was just a matter of time before Tina and Ike became world-wide stars and when Tina eventually would move on to her own career and life with great courage.

They are both simply the best and surely never really get the iconic recognition that they deserve as some of their peers. It really has to be said that this woman is a true force of nature. A lot of other artists and groups have claimed to be about girl power, but Tina is woman power. To endure what she endured and to have then gone on to the lengths she has is unparalleled. Tina Turner is the definition of legend.

I was there opening night. It was electric. From the red carpet to the very end when the theatre was empty, i was invited to take photos of the cast & Tina. A moment I will cherish forever. Legend just doesn't seem fitting.
