This is by far my favorite Tinashe interview! She seemed comfortable and her personality was shining through. She seems fun and funny! The music is sounding a lot more honest as well.

Tinashe is the first black woman producer/engineer of our time. She doesnt need anyone to give her that staple when its already the fact. Tinashe was mistreated, misrepresented by her previous record label and was also one of the few female artists at the time that dealt with other big artists offering money to these platforms so she will not become big, it was to avoid her not being in shows. Tinashe was blackballed- and the reason is here, because she is the first of her kind to do anything independent. In a time where change is shifting, all eyes will be on her in the future.

@@Joejoyoyoyo No. Beyoncé and Chloe songwrite which is different. They probably have made some beats too. But they have never audio engineered or synthesized music. Tinashe has engineered her 3 last albums by herself.

I took my daughter to get her eyebrows threaded for the first rime she was like 15, she's 20urs old now but the esthetician said she reminded her of Tinashe and she really does in looks , energy, style and vibe. Towards the end the fan said she made a song with fka twigs but I can't find it and I would've came across it because I stan tinashe. And I am pretty sure I know close to every song she put out even the one that I can't find called grateful or even the Japan version release of joyride called l-o-v-e. But yeah anybody else hear or come across the fka tinashe song. Tbh I kind of felt like she was thinking about shygirl tbh.

I noticed this too, I think Tinashe just avoided correction. She was being nice and grounded and didnt feel like giving it much attention. She has so much leaked music it could be true. But if anyone suffers from horrible hacking in the industry its her. She gets hacked left and right since she is the only black female producer in the industry.

Tinashe made a few mistakes in the past, but she rose above them. I mean c’mon, she was young, she was learning how to navigate the music industry. Looking at her now, I don’t see vulnerability with a sense of arrogance. When I first heard of her, that’s the vibe I got. But now, after listening to her interviews, I now see a strong woman who’s confident in her own skin, knows what her values are, what she wants, and is relentless as Hell when it comes to her work ethic. I’m proud of her! ✊🏻✊🏻

Found the BB/Angel album after her recent album visuals and it's my favorite thing since Songs For You. Love the dark, ethereal, alt, cinematic R&B sound and hope she continues with it.
