The Swiss painter and sculptor Jean Tinguely, who died in 1991, is best known for his sculpted machines or kinetic art, known officially as metamatics. His art satirised the mindless overproduction of material goods in industrial societies. (SF/RTS/swissinfo.ch)

Love his art, however for someone who rails against money, money is allowing him to create these pieces.

his works usually destroyed themselves, and if not, much of it was thrown away by the artists request. I cant think of a less money-driven way to make art than this.
