what your doing is exactly the kind of thing i want to do. thank you so much for championing the small reptiles too, they are so often overlooked and ignored. do you work with any conservation groups for reintroduction programmes? also, have you ever worked with podarcis sicula? they are high on my list of favourites but the captive information is few and far between, and often outdated.

Thanks for your kind words, we currently are focusing on increasing captive populations, so that conservation efforts can be of more impact. We haven’t worked with P.sicula yet, only Podarcis muralis. In the future we wish to extend our species list.

This is amazing mate I’ve been breeding common lizards for 10 years I’ve watched over 200 births and it never gets boring I’m always fascinated by it I’ve hatched plane morphs green and melenistic morphs your Doing an amazing job don’t let anyone tell you different if you ever want to contact me maybe on coming together to ramp up the species :) I can drop you my email

We transferred the gravid female to this enclosure to lay, so we could be ready to capture the magical moment of birth!

What species are the eggs?

Andrey Ezhkov ok its best to pop them in an incubator at around 26 C.

The breeding group came from mitigation projects and private breeders.
