Two items (I'd change) your lock box... Id move it somewhere away from the the door access. I would insulation the walls. N youve got no potty.... Otherwise, pretty sweet ride. 💜
Hi. I love the way how you installed that diesel heater. From the video I was able to figure it how you made all the conections, I have this some one on my sailboat. The questionis where did you located the diesel tank?
The electric is very nicely done and simple. I have a question tho about these powerstation batterypacks. Are they okay to leave connected to shore power for about 3 to 4 days while using the electrics inside the van? Does it regulate the loading and unloading of the battery? Or is it more like a straight through kinda deal?
Question did you build the cabinets and bed all by yourself or did you purchase them pre-made? if you build them yourself did you keep any of the plans of what you did or the schematics ? Nice build
You're built a really awesome man I love what you did to it has a perfect setup give me ideas if I ever get a van and want to do that I love your idea man
How tall are you and are you able to fully stand up inside?? I really like the transit connect and would like to use it for a camper conversion, im 5’7 for reference
Great job! I curious how the frame structure for the solar panels was attached to the roof. Was the superstrut bolted down directly to the existing mounting screw holes (4 in total)? I am in the process of converting an exact same van right now. Thank you.
As shown in the video that the positive and negative leads on the alligator clips are the input wires of the fuse block which serves as the DC power distribution centers to the rest of the camper van.
With including the cost of the van between 12-15k just depends on the van cost. But in materials and everything right about 5-6k, just be ready to invest the time!
