First off, sorry about my nail polish! I like to get all crafty during summer vacation and my mommy wanted to see what I was up to this time. My first attempt at polymer, I got a lot of my ideas from online photos and copied stuff I thought was really cute. Can you believe people sell this stuff for an arm and a leg!? It's way more fun to make it your self, but if any of you RU-vidrs out there want me to make something for you, it would be my pleasure, I work cheap! Cheers! This is a repost, updated to HD maybe it will be less fuzzy this time :)

@cherwi91 I paint faces on my charms. Some people use special paint pens. It kind of looks that that is what she does. It all depends on how much you can spend/ what paints you have/ and what you prefer. The charm-hanggly thingies are called eye pins, and can be bought at any art store. Hope this helps!

can you use a sharpie permanent marker the on clay to make little faces instead of acrylic paints, and if you can would they last long or would they just fade out?

Do u use a separate oven for baking your stuff? I heard that clay releases fumes that get into oven walls and u still smell it when baking something else. Can u prevent this from happening?

Both of the songs are known from the movie Juno (great movie btw). The first song is named Tree Hugger - Kimya Dawson, and the second is named Anyone Else But You - Michael Cera and Ellen Page. Two beautiful songs, the first one is really adorable! kriquite -> GREAT job with your accessories! I'm soo inspired and impressed by your work!

@DaDorkiieWeirdo Hi, It's to show how big or small something is. I use a penny because most people know how big a penny is and then can judge how big the item is. Without the penny, you would have nothing to compare the item to so you would not know if the item in the picture was the size of a hand or the size of a freckle! Hope this clears things up a little :)

This video inspired me as a young teenage girl to make my own creations, and now I found it again as an adult. I'm going to start making my own charms again!

I use really stiff 20-24 gauge craft/beading wire and sometimes (if the piece is flat on the bottom) I use head pins. Sometimes if I don't feel like making my own "loops" I will use eyepins. I use 20 gauge for the sturdier items and 24 gauge (which is thinner wire) for the "flat" kind of pieces like the pacman or waffles.

@LuffedPengin They are made from polymer clay like Fimo and Sculpy. The clay comes colored. I made the charms out of clay and painted the faces with acrylic paint and polymer glaze. :)
