It gives the room a little more personality and very cheap ❤️ At Hobby Lobby they have weekly sales and if I remember correctly, I think they were on sale. Love a bargain. LOL. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment😊💕

So beautiful how you left the beetle killed pine in the bathroom and ceilings. and used whitewash to preserve the imperfections and let the blue grey shine through. Wonderful use of accent paints to compliment and tie back to the pine…your home is full of your own personal touches. Makes if feel warm ad welcoming 💜😎

Thank you Lizzie. I am very happy how my vision turned out. It was a process. I did not tackle it all at once except the whitewash. I did not want to move in until that was done. I had the home maybe 2 weeks before I moved in. I think. LOL. The imperfections give it character and I love that the wood they used was not perfect and had knots and imperfections. I hope in showing what I have done will give others ideas of how just a simple thing like accenting a wall or trim with paint or using beautiful peel and stick tiles can bring the room to life. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and watching! I hope you have a great week!❤️🙂

Hi Brenda! Another great video! You did a great job on your house. The whitewashing made a huge difference for sure. You were brave to get up so high and tackle those beams! I used to love to paint my homes and even do faux finishes back in the day. But by the time I get my tiny house I’ll be too old to be able to do all that. I’ll have to hire it done. But I can’t wait! Plan to retire in 4 years and I’m collecting ideas. So fun!
@simplylivingtiny
@simplylivingtiny 2 месяца назад
Hello Brenda🙂 I did ask my builder to whitewash but in 2019 they were going to charge 4, 000 to do that. I thought "I have upgraded enough" LOL and it was something I knew I could do. It was my first attempt to do whitewash and it was a learning curve. I ended up just painting a small area and immediately wipe it off and that gave me to look I wanted. At Lowes a lady told me to dilute the paint and I did that at first but it was bubbling and drying awful. My technique is very messy but it worked. LOL. The beam was a little scary. I just took my time and concentrated on what I was doing to prevent falls. One bad fall can change your life forever. It was more scary cleaning my gutters. LOL. I'm excited for you Brenda and so happy retirement is only a few years away. I look forward to owing my own time. I can't think of anything better other than spending it close to a beach and looking for seashells. HaHaHa.❤️🏖️🙂 Have a good week. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate you!!!

Thank you Brenda. The before pictures give you a better visual of how dramatic the changes have made. It's amazing how simple things can make a difference. Changing the switch plate is easy. Just a little screw to remove and change it out for your new one. No electric involved. LOL.On my wheel well I have my ice maker. Such a good video, Brenda. It was such a blessing to find your channel a couple weeks ago, while I’m awaiting my tiny home build. I’m getting lots of ideas from you. First let me say you’ve done a fabulous job by picking a theme and color scheme and keeping it cohesive throughout. I will definitely be using your idea for tiles on the backs of the steps up to the loft. Mine will be white when it comes, which is just asking for scuff marks. How long did your build take. We are 3 weeks in and I talked to the sales rep the other day and the walls and electrical are all in. They are getting ready to paint the outside.

I love that mug. My Aunt got that for me during Covid pandemic. During the time I worked at a Rehab Facility and then Correctional Facility. I'm don't work as CM or UR. I work on a nurse advice line for an insurance company. My role is very similar to a CM but I don't follow the people for a period of time. I work on an inbound line. So we try to resolve the issue then but if not we can refer to CM. I love working from home compared to facilities. The stress is less but it's still there. Are you a nurse? It is an online course specifically teaching you skills and resume support to get the job you are looking for to work from home.
